As this solemn season ar rives, the hustle and bustle of modern living is suddenly in terrupted by the rapidly ap proaching “Days of Awe.” In the midst of an era of roaring missiles and epic making space journeys ac companied by hopes and fears and threats and world ten sion, the sudden but gentle call of the “Still Small Voice" of the Shofar summons us to pause, to consider and to scrutinize our past spiritual budget with its grave lessons for the future.
