Janus-Gordon Marriage Solemnized
At Ahavath Aehim Synagogue Dee. 2\
The Janus-Gordon wedding, uniting the daughter of a family
dedicated for years to Zionist idealism and leadership and a repre
sentative of the Israel Diplomatic Corps, came about as close to be
ing a marriage of state as ever Atlanta Jewry may witness. For this
reason, we have broken a long standing practice of not giving space
to descriptions of floral arrangements and wedding gowns and have
included details not ordinarily presented in our marriage reports.
We hope the time will not be distant when we can afford to print
such descriptions for every couple united in matrimony, along with
photographs of the brides who would always bring beauty and
charm to our columns as they do indeed for their nuptials.
