Arnold M. Balser of Atlanta has
been admitted as a partner to

the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam J
Balser of Atlanta. Mr. Balser at

ceived his BBA degree in Ac
counting from the University of
Georgia. He is married to the
former Claire Freedman, daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Freed
man of Atlanta. The couple has
three sons.
Mrs. Sue Beton of Atlanta has
arrived in Jaffa, Israel, where she
will make her home with her
children Mr. and Mrs. Sapettai
Barouh. She is the sister of the
Franco brothers and Mrs. Albert

Mr. and Mrs. Alan R. Meisel,
recently married in Palm Springs,
Calif., are Visiting his parents,
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Meisel
of Atlanta for the week. The
newlyweds later plan to leave for
Baltimore to attend the annual
convention of the College Art As-
ssociation of America. From
there, they will return to their
home in Berkeley, Calif., where
Mr. Meisel is on the faculty of the
University of California.
Susan Melvin, 11, niece of Mr
and Mrs. Alvin M. Tenenbaum
of Atlanta, will be seen in “The
Frog Pit,” on CBS-TV at 8:30
a. m on Sunday, January 27.

tion, a seminar on “The Jewish
Purpose” will take place on Mon
day and Tuesday at 8:15 p. m. at
the Atlanta Jewish Community
Center. Isaac Toubin, director of
the American Association for
Jewish Education who has come
to Atlanta to participate in the
Third Annual Regional Jewish
Education Conference, will con
duct the seminar.

social sciences at Georgia Tech,
is back in his classroom in At
lanta this week after a one-week,
fling lecture trip
to Alaska.

Arts Education in the Eyes of

Alaska’s Economic Future” and
"America Needs Alaska ”
In addition to the four lectures,
Dr. Seharf participated on a panel
that discussed “Liberal Arts Ed
ucation in a Capitalist Society.”
He returned to Atlanta on De
cember 19.
