Mr. and Mrs. Morris Goodman
announce the engagement of her
daughter, Miss Lynn Nan Harris,
to Barron Frederick Goodman son
of Morris Goodman and the late
Mrs. Gertrude Goodman. Miss
Harris is also the daughter of the
late Henry N. Harris.
The bride-elect was graduated
trom Henry Grady High School
and from the Emory University
Hospital School of X-Ray tech
nology.
The future bridegroom was
graduated from Benedictine Mil
itary School and from the Uni
versity of Georgia where he re
ceived a bachelor of business ad
ministration degree in finance.
While attending the University,
he was a member of Tau Epsilon
J'hi social fraternity. He is associ
ated with the ZEP Manufacturing
Company of Atlanta.
The wedding will take place
March 15 at B’nai B’rith Jacob
Synagogue in Savannah.

Double Simcha
For Miami Couple
Zena and Jerry Weinkle of Mi
ami recently had occasion tor a
double simcha.
Their son Louis Alan became
a Bar Mitzvah on November 30
at Temple Beth David here.
During the same weekend, their
daughter Carolyn Sue became the
bride of Merrill Ira Lamb.
Mrs. Weinkle is the former
Zena Schwartz of Charlotte. Her
sister is Mrs. Marshall Kline. Mr.
and Mrs. Kline are former At-
.intans.
Among the guests for the two
events were the bride's grandpar
ents, Mrs. Sol Weinkle, Mrs. Jenny
Schwartz and Sam Schwartz.
Other out-of-town guests in
cluded Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Kline
of Columbia; Mr. and Mrs. How

The tuture bridegroom attended

Phi. He is now attending Emory
University School of Dentistry. A
June wedding is planned.

age by her uncle, Joseph Ben-
uny. The best man was Baris
Goodrich, father of the bride
groom. Mrs. Bebe Benamy Holtz,
cousin of the bride, was matron
el honor. The bride’s attendants
were Abbey Liff of Dayton, Ohio,
and Adrienne Perlman of Jack
sonville. The groomsmen were
Dr. Samuel Melvin Goodrich and
Isaac Goodrich of Augusta, colu-
sins of the groom. The ushers
were Paul and Michael Harris,
brothers of the bride; Harold I.
Goodrich, brother of the groom;
and Seymour Brown, brother-in-
law of the groom.
After the ceremony the bride’s
aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs.
Benamy, entertained at a seated
dinner in the Srochi Hall.
After a wedding trip to Jekyll
Island, the couple is residing at
1190 Woodland Avenue, N. E.,
Apt. D-3.
Levow—Leff
Amy Susan Levow, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Harold A. Levow,
became the bride of Jacob Leon
Leff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry
Lcff of Jacksonville December 22
at the Progressive Club. Rabbi
Harry H. Epstein officiated.
The bride was given in mar
riage by her father. Barbara Long
served as maid of honor. Brides
maids were Karen Krugman,
Elaine Katz, sister-in-law of the
bride of New York; and Sharon
Ixwow, sister of the bride.
The best man was Inman Leff,
brother of the bridegroom of Bos
ton. Groomsmen were Morton
Leff, brother of the bridegroom
of New York; Ernest Katz, bro
ther-in-law of the bridegroom;
and Alan Levow, brother-in-law
of the bjidegroom.
A reception was given by the
bride’s parents at the Progressive
Club.
After a wedding trip to New
Orleans, Mr. and Mrs. Leff will
live in Atlanta.

ard Sidney Sherman, son of Mrs
Ben Sherman and the late Mr
Sherman December 15 at the Pro
