The Ayalons, who have ap

great popularity, present a pro
gram entirely in English with
their own original touch of folk
songs, comedy and satire. Their
association goes back to Israel’s
War of Independence in 1948,
when several boys burst out in
fiery song elevating the morale
of tlie fighters in the Valley of
Ayalon. The group entertained
at front lines, army camps, dug-
outs, hospitals, and at war’s end
began public appearances which
won them wide acceptance wher
