David Haver of Atlanta announces
the engagement of his daughter,
Faye Haver, to Irwin A. Siegel, son
of Joseph Siegel of Miami Beach
and the late Mrs. Esther Siegel.
The bride-elect attended the Uni
versity of Florida, where she was a
member of Delta Phi Epsilon. Miss
Haver will be graduated from Ogle
thorpe University in June.
Mr. Siegel was graduated from
Emory University, where he was a
member of Alpha Epsilon Pi and
Alpha Phi Omega, service fraternity.
The future bridegroom is an as
sociate member of the Georgia So
ciety of Certified Public Accountants
Bailey and Smart in Atlanta,
and is employed by Touch, Ross,
The wedding will take place June

Hiller—Harris
MEMPHIS—Sam Gross Hiller of
Memphis announces the engagement
of his daughter, Miss Peggy Hiller,
to Stanley E. Harris Jr., son of Mr.
and Mrs. Stanley Harris of Savan
nah.
Miss Hiller is the daughter of the
late Mrs. Sam Hiller and the grand
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Julian Lee of Memphis, Term., and
the late Mr. and Mrs. Emmanuel
Hiller of Canton, Miss.
The bride-elect attended Skidmore
College in Saratoga Springs, N. Y.,
and received a B A. degree from
Southwestern at Memphis. She was
a member of Chi Beta Phi honorary
scientific fraternity. Miss Hiller is
employed by the Atlanta Public
School System as a biology teacher.
The future bridegroom is the
grandson of Mrs. Lester Harris and
the late Mr. Harris of Savannah,
and Mrs. Morris Wolf of Washing
ton, and the late Mr. Wolf of Tam-
pa.
Mr. Harris was graduated from
Savannah High School. He received
an A.B. degree from Harvard Col
lege and his law degree from the
Emory University School of Law,
where he was a member of Phi
Alpha Delta legal fraternity and the
editorial staff of the “Journal of
Public Law.’’
A member of the Savannah, Geor
gia and American Bar associations,
Mr. Harris is on the boards of the
Clair Henderson Memorial Rehabil
itation Center and the Chatham-Sa-
vanah Defense Council. He is a
member of the Savannah Golf Club,
Junior Chamber of Commerce and
other organizations.
A June wedding is planned.
Richman—Ratner
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Richman of
Savannah announce the engagement
of their daughter, Arlene Sue, to
Allan James Ratner, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Lewis Ratner, of Scars-
dale, N. Y.
Miss Richman is a senior at the
University of Georgia where she is
a member of Sigma Delta Tau sor
ority.
Mr. Ratner is attending the Uni
versity of Georgia and will be grad
uated in June. He is a member of
the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity.
The bride-elect is the granddaugh
ter of Mrs. Aaron Pollock of Birm
ingham, Ala., and the late Mr. and
Mrs. Selig Richman of Savannah.
A June wedding is planned by the
couple.

Shanxi Ruth Meltz, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Baron Meltz,
of Atlanta, became the bride of
Hirsch Elliott Bressler, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Jack Brassier at the
Ahavath Achim Synagogue on Jan
uary 26.
Rabbi Harry Epstein officiated.
The bride was given in marriage
by her father. Mr. Bressler was his
son’s best man.
Mrs. Robert L. Kushner Jr. was
her sister’s matron of honor. Mrs.
Donald Field, Mrs. Jerry -Farber,
Trissie Morris, Harriett Cohen and
Carla Weitz were bridal attendants.
Mrs. Jerry Kaminsky and Katie
Rosenberg kept the bride’s book.

ert Kushner in was ring bearerv
Groomsmen were Donald Field,
Dr. Robert L. Kushner Jr., Gene
Felton, Richard Bressler, Alan Lev
inson and Jules Stine. Abe Green
berg and Simon Bressler were sen
ior ushers.
Upon returning from a wedding
trip to Puerto Rico, the newlyweds
are living in Atlanta.
Brown—Kaminsky
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brown of
Chattanooga announce the en
gagement of their daughter, Sandra
Elizabeth, to Lawrence Edward
Kaminsky, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Herman R. Kaminsky of Fitzger
ald.
The bride-elect, a graduate of
Chattanooga High School, received
her Bachelor of Science degree in
Nursing from the University of Mi
ami, where she was president of
the Student Body of Nurses. At the
present time Miss Brown is an in
structor at the Georgia Baptist Hos
pital School of Nursing. „
Mr. Kaminsky is a graduate of
Emory University where he was
president of Alpha Epsilon Pi fra
ternity and received the Ouslanding
-Senior Award. He was a member
of the Student Senate and president
of the Emory University Student
Body. Mr. Kaminsky is vice presi
dent and secretary of H. R. Kam
insky & Sons, Inc., in Fitzgerald.
The wedding will take place at
B’nai Zion Synagogue in Chatta
nooga on May 24.
