Welfare Fund Clears $600,000
Mark; Most Divisions Ahead
With the 1964 Welfare Fund cam

scale, it is almost two-thirds of the
way toward the campaign goal, M.
William Breman, General Campaign
Chairman, told an all Men’s Division
report meeting at the Progressive
Club Tuesday. The pledges have now
cleared the $600,000 Mark and Initial
Gifts, Advance Gifts, Special Gifts,
Physicians and Dentists and Scrap
Metal are all ahead of last year.
General Solicitation is just now gett

year’s final figures but is expected
to go considerably higher because

The film follows the inhabitants from

M. C. “Mike” Gettinger spoke of
his own experience in Israel, where
he worked with the Malben program
which absorbs aged and handicapp

other local and national beneficiaries
of the campaign.
Edward Krick and Paul Dwoskin
chaired the meeting. They discuss

used by workers and emphasized the
fact that while this is a single cam

Some 1300 cards were distributed
which are being covered by more
