Registration
Reminder
Nursery schools offer a wide va
riety of experiences to supplement
the activities which the pre-school
age child enjoys. Expert guidance
and supervision by trained staff is
the qualitative difference in how the
youngster benefits from the early
experiences.
Mrs. Ralph Sacks, Pre-School De
partment Director, indicates that a
limited number of places are still
available for the Center’s Nursery
School Fall and Winter Session
which begins in September. Parents
who wish to insure a place for their
children in the Nursery School should
register immediately. Registration
forms may be obtained at the re

In the selection of Camp Barney
Medintz personnel, the standards
recommended by the American
Camping Association are consistent
ly exceeded. Counselors are chosen
on the basis of their educational
background and camping experience.
They represent the cream of col
lege youth on both the undergraduate
and post graduate levels.
Many of them bring to their jobs
special skaHs in camp activities as
well as experience in related fields
of recreation, social grotg> work and
health and physical education. Above
all, young persons are selected who
have demonstrated a positive Jewish
background, along with a sincere
love of children and a commitment
to the field of camping.
Service on the Camp Barney Med
intz satff is considered to be a mark
of distinction in toe work record of
those young people whose towns and
