B'nai B’rith Hillel Foundation at
the University of Georgia recently
elected officers for the coming year

The Hillel Foundation at the Uni
versity of Georgia will celebrate its
twentieth anniversary on the cam
pus in the fall of 1964 Under its
present director, Rabbi Frank A.
Fischer, Hillel is serving the needs
of approximately five hundred Jew
ish students now enrolled in the
University.

AZA’8 134 Installs
New Officers
Atlanta Chapter No. 134, AZA. held
its installation of new officers Sun
day, April 26, at the Atlanta Jewish
Community Center.
The informal installation was per
formed by temporary advisor, Ger
eld Cohen. The officers for the next
six months are Jimmy Glenn,
Aleph Godot; Richard Brassier,
Aleph S'gan; Gary Ronin, Aleph
Mazkir; Harvey Levitt, Aleph Giz-
bor; Paul Alterman and Richard
Rose, Sergaants-at-Arms.

Mrs. Max Brueok has returned
from a trip to Israel While there,
Mrs. Brueck visited with relatives
she held not seen in over twenty-
five years, including a cousin who
is a doctor at the Hadassah Hos
pital in Jerusalem.
Mrs. A1 (hasten of A1 Chaskin’s,
Women’s Apparel Shop, was elected
president of the Savannah Better
Business Bureau recently. She is the
first woman president of the or
ganization.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Kanter were
among the first visitors to the New
York World’s Fair. They plan to
spend two weeks sight-seeing.
Dr. and Mrs. Alexander Pader
ewski Rosin of Long Beach, Calif.,
announce the birth of a daughter,
Mario Jo, on April 25. Morris
Drucker of Savannah is the grand
father.

din, observed his Bar Mitzvah Sat
urday, May 2, at B’nai B’rith Ja
cob Synagogue
Stephen L. Traub Jr., son of Mr

Bar Mitzvah Saturday, May 2, at
Mickve Israel Synagogue.
Jack Howard Sussman, a student
at the University of Georgia, has
been selected for membership in
Beta Alpha Psi, the national honor
ary accounting fraternity for ac
counting majors who are candidates
for a degree.
The Bar Mitzvah of Barry M. Kaye,
son of Mr and Mrs Morton Kaye,
was observed Friday, May 1 at
Agudath Achim Synagogue.
Capt. Saul Katz, legal officer for
the Atlantic Fleet Mine Force, was
the speaker at the Law Day ob
servance luncheon held by the Sa
vannah Bar Association and the Sa
vannah Chapter of the Federal Bar
Association.

BANQUET MAY 4
The annual mother-daughter ban
quet of Savannah B’nai B’rith Girls
took place Monday, May 4, fit the
Jewish Educational Alliance
Mrs. Paul Bimhaum. president of
B’nai B’rith Women of Savannah,
installed the new officers of the
three BBG chapters.
Presidents of the chapters are

Chapter Debbie Sutker, Chapter
1133, and Carol Goodman, Chapter

Torah Chapter of BBG held its an
nual election of officers for the
coming year 1964-1965 at the Atlanta
Jewish Community Center. The out
going officers who have given DOT
its fine leadership this past year
