Dr. Leon Goldberg, chairman of
the Clinical Pharmacology depart
ment at the Eknory School of Med
icine, has received a grant under
the auspices of the Burroughs-Well
come Focsxiation for study and re
search at the post-graduate medical
center in London, England Dr. and
Mm. Goldberg and children, Claudia
and Mark, will leave Atlanta May
22 for New York, and will depart
on the May 28 sailing of the
“France” for a seven month reed
dence in London.

Seattle, Wash., were recent guests
of their son and daughter-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brandt. After
leaving Atlanta, the George Brandts
sailed from New York on the USS
Brazil for a visit with relatives in
South America.

Bobby Goldstein, 14, son of Mr
and Mrs. Leon C. Goldstein, has
achieved his Eagle Scout rank. He
is a ninth grader at Northside High
School and a member of Troop 298

returned from a visit in Boston with
their son, Bobby, a student at Mas
sachusetts Institute of Technology
They also spent several days in
New York touring the World's Fair.

returned from a trip to Israel. The
Levows spent about a month visiting

Inc., Atlanta No. 54, held a dinner
Wednesday, May 13, at Yohaiman’s
Restaurant.
Following the dinner, members ad
journed to the Atlanta Federal Bank
Building. PieAnoot and Peachtree
Rd. N. E., for installation of of
ficers.
Grand Lodge National president

over the installation.

“How to Succeed In Business or
I’m Not Really Trying,” an original
musical comedy written by Mrs.
Burton Handmacher, Mrs. A. M.
Franco, Dr. Jack Rousso, and Paul
Landis, promises to be the hif^vligbt
of a most spectacular evening of
fun and entertainment. The cast
will take the audience on tours of
France, Spain. Greece, Turkey and
China, not without some hilarious
consequences.
Also sparking the evening will be
the drawing for round trip air
transportation to Miami Beach and
one week’s room accommodations
at the Algiers Hotel there. The trip
is for two people. Tickets for the
drawing at $1 are available now
from ail Sisterhood members.
Frances Wallace and her band
wiU provide the music for dancing
the entire evening.
