Congregation Seeks to Stamp
Out Problem—With Stamps
CHATTANOOGA—Members of B’nai Zion Congregation in Chattanooga
are attempting “to stamp out” one of their urgent problems quite literally
—with trading stamps.
The nursery kindergarten and religious school of the congregation are
badly in need of a new bus to ensure safe transportation of the children
At Dig, the replacement of the bus loomed as a very serious prob
lem, indeed; but investigation turned up a relatively simple way to meet
the need. Members are getting just about everything else with trading
stamps these days—why not a bus.
It can be done, officials concluded. With a sufficient number of books
of Top Value or S k H Green Stamps B’nai Zion can secure a brand
new Chevrolet bus.
Congregational mathematicians determined that six books of these
trading stamps from each family would cover the amount needed and a
plea is being made for tbs generous participation of members. Naturally
tbs committee will be grateful for any outside donations of stamp books
