Mr. and Mrs. John C. Mehler of
Caracas, Venezuela, announce the
engagement of their daughter, Mias
EHaabeth Mehler, to Dr. David M
Cohen, son of Mr and Mrs. Max
Cohen of Macon.
Mias Metier, an alumna of Ool-
egto Americano in Caracas attended
Internal Belli in Anna, Switzer
land, and Univercite de Grenoble
in France. She was graduated from
Pine Manor Junior College and re
ceived a Bachelor of Arts degree
from Brandeis University, majoring
in Political Science.
Dr. Oohen, honor graduate of
Lanier High School, Macon, received
a Bachelor of Science degree cum
laude from the University of Geor
gia where he was elected to Alpha
Epsilon Delta, honorary pre-medical
society, Phi Kappa Phi and Phi
Beta Kappa. He received a medical
degree from the Medical College of
Georgia where he was elected to
Alpha Omga Alpha, honorary med
ical society. Upon completion of his
internship at Mt. Sinai Hospital in
New York, Dr. Cohen is to begin
a surgical residency at Talmadge
Memorial Hospital in Augusta.
A June wedding in Caracas is
