Hate Slogans
Appearon Walls
Of 2 Cities
MUNICH (JTA) — The new
outbreak of swastika smearings,
begun at Bamberg more than a
month ago and, since then, crop
ping out in various other parts
of Germany, continued to man
ifest itself.
In this city, perhaps the
staunchest of the old strongholds
of Nazism, the swastika was
found by police to have been
chalked in crayon on sidewalks
and on advertising posters. On
several walls, the police found
the slogan “Jews, get out.” At
Heilbron, windows on stores in
a shopping center, and several
walls, were also daubed with the
swastika.
It was noted here, as it has
been throughout Germany, that,
thus far, not one of the swastika
smearers has been arrested any
where in the country since the
new incitement campaign was
launched at Bamberg on June 13.
Rockwell Runs
lor Governor
Of Virginia
RICHMOND, Va. (JTA) —
George Lincoln Rockwell, leader
of the American Nazi Party, en
tered his name officially as a
candidate for Governor of Vir
ginia in the statewide elections
to be held next November. He
filed a petition bearing more than
1,000 signatures, nominating him
as the gubernatorial candidate on
an independent ticket.
The state election law provides
that 250 signatures by qualified
voters are needed on such a pe
tition. Levin Nock Davie, secre
tary of the State Bbard of Elec
tions, said he will check every
name on the Rockwell petition,
but added that it looked as
though a sufficient number of
qualified voters had put their
names on the Rockwell nominat
ing petition. Rockwell did not list
any other candidates on his
ticket. In addition to a guberna
torial candidate, the voters of this
state must elect this year also
a Lieutenant Governor and the
State Attorney General.
Mrs. Celia Bach
Mrs. Celia Weinstork Bach, 73,

NBW YORK (WUP) — The

Nazis during World War II and
who is currently stationed in Da
mascus, Syria, is the principal
go-between and man-behind-the-

El-Fatah guerrillas in China.
This fact was disclosed in a
N. Y. Herald Tribune dispatch
from London entitled “Peking
Now No. 1 Protector of Arabs.”
Cabled by Seymour Freidin,
chief Foreign News Editor of the
Tribune, the dispatch noted that
the guerrillas “will be trained in
the latest Chinese “guerrilla tac
tics” at assorted camps within
Communist China.” It also noted
that “it was just a year ago that
