Rings on Their Fingers
Morse—Freedman
SAN FRANCISCO— Miss Pa
tricia Amele Morse, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Leon Morse of San
Francisco, became the bride of
Benton Bdward Freedman on
August 28 at the Fairmont Hotel.
Mr. Freedman is the son of
Dr. and Mrs. Louis Murray
Freedman of Savannah. Cantor
Reuben Rinder officiated.
The bride was given in marri
age by her father. Mrs. Evan
Hirsch of Mill Valley Was her
sister’s matron of honor. Miss
Gladie Moellerich was brides
maid.
Murray Allen Freedman of
Savannah served as his brother’s
best man. Ushers were Donald
Freedman, brother of the bride
groom; Evan Hirsch, brother-in-
law of the bride; Larry Singer of
Piedmont, Calif., and Charles
Jacobowitz of Detroit.
A reception in the Pavillion
Room of the hotel followed the
ceremony.
Upon their return from a wed
ding trip to Hawaii, Mr. and Mrs.
Freedman will reside in Atlanta.
Gerson—Tuttle
Miss Cheryl Joyce Gerson,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David
Gerson of Columbus, and Gerald
Allan Tuttle of Malden, Mass.,
were married on August 15. in
Shearith Israel Synagogue, Co
lumbus.
Rabbi Alfred Goodman and
Cantor Henry Jereck officiated.
The bridegroom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Max Tuttle of Mal
den.
Mrs. Morton Berenson, organ
ist, and Robert Pollack of Wake
field, Mass., brother-in-law of
the bridegroom, presented the
wedding music.
Robert Pollack was best man
and Alan Nichols of Wakefield,
Robert Scott of Northfield, Mass.,
Dr. Michael Levine of Atlanta,
brother-in-law of the bride; Ed
win Gerson, brother of the bride;
Dr. Jack Hirsch and Irvin Rosen
berg Jr. were usher-groomsmen.

or. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Rob
ert Pollack of Wakefield, sister
of the groom; Mrs. Marvin Sha
piro of Birmingham; Mrs. Mar
vin Hirsh of Atlanta; Mrs. Sid
ney Kaminsky of Athens; Mrs.
Irvin Rosenberg Jr. and Mrs.
Barry BlondShettm were brides
maids. Mr. Gerson gave his
daughter in marriage.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerson were hosts
at a reception which followed in
the Synagogue. Miss Deborah
Murphy of Washington, and Mrs.
Robert Goldberg of Miami kept
the bride’s book. After the re
ception, Mr. and Mrs. Gerson
were hosts to their family and
out-of-town guests at a dinner
at the Harmony Club.
Following a wedding trip to
Sen Juan, Puerto Rico and St.
Thomas, Virgin Islands, the new
lyweds are living in Minneapolis
for four months and then will
go to Pittsburgh where they will
attend graduate school at the
University of Pittsburgh.

Goldenberg—Goodman
PENSACOLA— Mr. and Mrs.
Gus Goldenberg announce the
engagement of their daughter,
Miss Esta Goldenberg, to Barry
Stephen Goodman, son of Mr.
and Mrs Nathan Goodman of
Savannah.
The bride-elect is the grand
daughter of Mrs. Phillip Golden
berg and the late Mr. Golden
berg, and Mrs. David Barkoff of
New Orleans, La., and the late
Mr. Barkoff.
Miss Goldenberg was gradu
ated from Louisiana State Uni
versity where she was a mem
ber of Alpha Epsilon Phi soror
ity. She is employed in Atlanta.
The future bridegroom is the
grandson of Mrs. Ida Berman of
Savannah, and the late Mr. Ber
man, and the late Mr. and Mrs.
Benjamin Goodman of Savannah.
Mr. Goodman was graduated
from the University of Georgia
where he was a member of Tau
Epsilon Phi fraternity. He is em
ployed by the Allstate Insurance
Co. in Atlanta.
The wedding will take place
November 27 in the Congregation
B’nai Israel Synagogue.
Huth—Silver
In a ceremony performed at
noon, Sept. 5, in the B’nai B’rith
Jacob Synagogue, Savannah, Miss
Irene Huth became the bride of
Ronald Alden Silver. Rabbi A. I.
Rosenberg officiated. Cantor was
Z. Katz.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Huth of Sa
vannah. Mr. Silver’s parents are
Mr. and Mrs. S. Harold Stein of
North Miami Beach.
Miss Rochelle Huth was her
sister’s maid of honor. The
bridesmaids were Miss Judie
Ann Stein, sister of the bride
groom, Miss Simone Broome and
Miss Judy Plotkin.
Susan Rosenzweig and Shana
Rosenzweig, cousins of the bride,
served as junior bridesmaids.
Steven Jacobson of Miami,
served as Mr. Silver’s best man.
Ushers were - Jeffrey Greene,
Stuart Nussbaum, Alan Stein
and Eric Merlin.
A reception and seated lunch
eon were held in the social hall
of the Synagogue.
Mr. and Mrs. Silver will make
their home in Coral Gables.
Kallman—Rosenthal
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif.
— Miss Barbara Toby Kallman,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry
Kallman, became - the bride of
Sanford Tyronne Rosenthal of
Los Angeles, son of Mrs. Morris
H. Rosenthal and the late Mr.
Rosenthal of Savannah, August
22, in the Valley Beth Israel Syn
agogue.
Rabbi Erwin S. Ruch and Can
tor Baruch Cohon officiated.
The bride was given in mar
riage by her father.
Mrs. Tara Eisner was matron
of honor and Miss Jane Kall
man, sister of the bride, was maid
of honor. Miss Mahine Elins,
Miss Joanne McLaughlin, Miss
Denise Rose and Miss Ann Pol
lack were bridesmaids.
Debbie Sasner was flower girl.
Jerry Rosenthal served as his
brother’s best man and ushers
were Barry Kallman, Gary Kall
man, George Hagler, Herman
Rosenthal and Sylvan Byck.
A reception was held in the
synagogue reception hall follow
ing the ceremony.
Later, Mr. and Mrs. Rosenthal
left on a 10-week wedding trip
to Europe.
They will make their home in
Canoga Park
Mr. Rosenthal was graduated
from Savannah High School and
received his bachelor of chemical
engineering degree from Georgia
Institute of Technology. He is
employed by Rocketdyne, Divis
ion of North America, in Canoga
Park. Mrs. Rosenthal was grad
uated from North Hollywood
High School and attended Valley
State College. She is employed
by McGavren-Guild Company of
New York.
