Highest pot of the nite was

who was the only guy to play it

Abe Levinson started out like
a house afire by dousing the pins
for a 220, then came right back
and drowned in the back-lash
with a dripping 134 . . .
Hank dayman looked like his
old self for a brief period with
the high single so far this sea

threw his partners in the river
with a 146 soaking . . . Numbers
man Howard Aronin strugged to
a 126 game, but was smart
enough to get Bernie Smith on
the phone between games for
correctional instructions, then
came barreling back with a fair
208 count . . .
Frank (Bojangles) Alexander
danced to a ragtime tune with a
gross 107 game, then switched
to ballet for a smooth 202 . . . The

other high singles, Oscar Levin

in for a 218 finish . . . George

newcomer Sam Frankel, who
adds his name to the attorneys

decision with notoriety by just
qualifying with a 200 single . . .
Murray Gordon also bowled.
