Jewish services were conducted
in the U. S. Capitol building. The
chaplain of the House, Rev.

News

Temperatures are rising in St.
Petersburg each day as members
of the SF Club return to their
homes here after an absence of
two weeks to four months and
meet old friends and acquain
tances. At the last outdoor meet

Beach on Thursday, Sept. 30,
many that had been away during
the summer, attended and were
greeted in true “friendly” fash

1966 season on Monday, Oct. 4,
with a general membership meet
ing that was well attended. By
the end of October the club’s
membership list of 250 is expect

adding an additional 100 new
members to its roster.

Sol Eisenberg is still his old

Max Schlacter is yelling his
head off “about losing weight”;
having to take all his trousers in
at the waistline, etc. If Max will
only look around the club at a
great many of his fellow mem

in just the opposite type of prob
lem, and having to leave their
waistline out a little. Harriet
Schlacter is his observing “FBI
Gal,” but she smiles, feeds him
what he is supposed to have, sees
that he gets to the club^nd gets
into his favorite pinnochle game
and she assures everyone that it
won’t be long before she will be
letting his waistline out again.

There is a lot of talk these
