Greenbaum—Crystal
Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Greenbaum
of Atlanta announce the marriage
of their daughter Marylyn to
Richard Crystal, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Raban Crystal of Woodmere,
L. I., N. Y. The wedding took
place November 25 at Ahavath
Achim Synagogue.
The bride was president of JOJ,
Miss BBYO, Sweetheart of AEPi
fraternity at Georgia Tech and
was voted Miss Technique. She
received her AB degree at Sophie
Newcomb College and her MA at
New York University.
Mr. Crystal received his AB
degree from Harvard and is com
pleting his last year at Harvard
Law School. He is a member of
Lincoln’s End Society and Harv
ard Club of New York.
Mr. and Mrs. Crystal are now
residing at 73 Dana St., Cam
bridge, Mass.

Greenbaum—Friedman
Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Greenbaum
of Atlanta announce the engage
ment of their daughter Elaine to
Joel Friedman, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Israel Friedman of Miami.
Miss Greenbaum was president
of JOJ, Miss BBYO, Sweetheart
of AEPi fraternity at Georgia
Tech and was voted Miss Tech
nique. She received her AB de
gree at Sophie Newcomb College
and her MA at New York Uni
versity.
Mr Reidman, formerly of Den
ver, received his MA degree at
Columbia University. He is now
with the firm of Merrill, Lynch,
Fenner and Smith.
A February wedding is being
planned and the couple will live
in New York City.

Shirley Ilene Mendel, daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mendel
of Atlanta became the bride of
Dr. Gerald T. Schultz of Ft.
Lauderdale, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Julius Schultz of Water
loo, Iowa, December 5 at the
Ahavath Achim Synagogue.

The bride was given in mar
riage by her father. Mrs. Stanley
Peck of Portsmouth, Virginia was
her sister’s matron of honor.
Bridal attendants were Mrs. Mar
vin Schultz of Ft. Lauderdale,
Mrs. Ronald Balser and Mrs.
Leonard Greenstein. Junior
bridesmaids were Miss Janet
Peck and Miss Vickie chultz. Miss
Marie Posner of New York City
kept the brides’ book.
Dr. Marvin Schultz of Ft.
Lauderdale, was his brother’s
best man. Usher-groomsmen
were Stanley Mendal, brother of
the bride, Stanley Peck of
Portsmouth, Virginia Nathan
Davis and Leonard Seloff of
Nashville, Alvin Koplin of
Macon, and Milton Romm.
Following the ceremony, a
seated dinner was given by the
brides parents.
After a wedding trip to Mon
tego Bay, Jamaica, the newly
weds will reside in Ft. Lauder
dale.

of Atlanta spent several days in
Miami Beach this week. On De
cember 21 they were joined there
by Mr. and Mrs. Louis Rosen
baum and both couples left Fort
Lauderdale on December 22 for
a Caribbean cruise on the Car-
mania.

Atlanta are celebrating their 23rd
anniversary at the Bay Rock in
Montego Bay, Jamaica. Their
