Friendship News
By HARRY ROSE
Great interest is being dis
played in the possible slate of
officers f°r the 1966-1967 term
by the Nominating Committee.
Members of the SF Club are
happier this week due to the
wonderful news coming out of
Mound Park Hospital that Selig
Bush has undergone a very suc

is expected to leave the hospital
within the next two weeks and
return to the Colonial Rest Home
and join his wife Ida. The Bushes
will remain at the Colonial per

From the corridors of the local
hospitals and from the homes of
those confined through illnesses,
comes the cheerier responses to
phone calls and personal in
quiries. Morris Zuckerman has
not been able to get over to the
club to see his old buddies since
his arrival from the North, but
is getting along fine. Ida Gor

she is not allowed visitors. How
ever, she is getting stronger each
day.
Pauline Zirinsky still at the
Palms of Pasadena Hospital but
doing splendidly. Earl Birkham-

a stay at Mound Park Hospital.

Anna will be the instructor in a
new painting class at SF Club,
starting In the March program.
Eva Seldin was missed this week,
but she is under the very watch-
ul eyes of her attending physi
cian, a victim of exceedingly
high blood pressure. The latest
report states that she is doing
very well and expects to rejoin
her club friends in the next week
or ten days.
Irene Socol, first lady of SF
Club, underwent surgery at the
Palms of Pasadena Hospital last
Thursday and made such rapid
progress that she returned to her
home six days later.
Oscar Bilfeld will take the
leadership in a new choral group,
which will feature the singing of
Jewish songs. This new venture
will occupy a prominent spot on
the regular March program.

members of the SF Club, d'ed in
