Terrors And Marauders

In two of the most exciting
games of the Young Adult Lea
gue, Taratoot’s Terrors handed
Finkelstein’s Flashes their first
loss of the year 51-48 in an over
time; and Manning’s Marauders
came from behind to edge Mil
ler's Mooses 47-43.
The battle of the undefeated
took place in the first game. Ta
ratoot’s Terrors led by Raymond
Taratoot’s 22 points, Mike Nem-
eroffs 14 points, and the fine
playmaking of George Fishman,
who also chipped in with 8
points, led throughout the game.
Not to be outdone, Finkelstein’s
Flashes, led by Marty Kogan’s
14 pts., Jack Hanchkrow’s 12
Pts., and Bruce Finkelstein’s 12
points made a bid in the final
quarter and tied the game. In
the overtime Finkelstein’s was
ou traced 8-5. Taratoot’s now
takes over undisputed first place
In the Y.A. League.
The second game was another
thriller. Miller’s Mooses striving
tor their first win, led throughout
the game. With only 3 minutes
to go and a 5 pt. lead, Mannings’*
Marauders and Ken Schwartz
made their move. In the last 3
minutes Ken Schwartz scored 10
pts. to pull the game out of the
fire for Mannings Marauders and
led them to a 47-43 victory. Ed
Haralick chipped in with 10 pts.
to the Marauders cause. Miller’s
Mooses were paced by Steve So-
bls’ 17 points, Moose Millers 10
