Dr. Goldwasser is currently
interning at the Cedars of Leban
on Hospital in Los Angeles. Mrs.
Goldwasser is an elementary
school teacher in Los Angeles.
DPhiE Alumnae
The Delta Phi Epsilon Alumnae
will meet at 8:00 p. m. Wednes
day, Feb. 16, at the home of Mrs.
Barry Berman, 1225 Bernadette,
N. E. A guest speaker from the
Pocket Theater will provide the
program.
Mrs. Friedman has a long
record of service in community
endeavors and Welfare Fund
activities. Her devotion, her
dedication, her sincerity and her
leadership experiences qualify
her for this responsible position.
The position as co-chairman of
the 1966 Campaign marks a re
peat performance for Mrs.
Friedman, having served as co-
chairman in the 1959 Welfare
Fund Drive. She has been a
consistent worker in the annual
fun d-raising campaigns for
many years, and has held lead
ership positions in several of
the Divisions.
In addition to serving as Pres
ident of the Ahavath Achim
Sisterhood, Mrs. Friedman has
held key posts in Hadassah and
The Jewish Home. She is in
volved in a number of Jewish
Women’s Organizations in the
community, and actively par
ticipates in various projects of
both the general and Jewish
community.
Mrs. Friedman is now serving
as vice president of the Year-
Round Women’s Division of the
Jewish Welfare Fund.
Mrs. Goldstein has compiled
within a short period a record
of exceptional service to the
Welfare Fund, in addition to
being a capable and impressive
leader in a variety of civic ac
tivities. She was Chairman of
the Pace-Setters and Special
Gifts Divisions in previous
Women’s Division Campaigns.
Her dynamic approach, her in
terest and concern in Welfare
Fund activities has won her
great admiration and respect.
Her appeal has captured the
imagination and enthusiasm of
veteran Welfare Fund leaders.
Mrs. Goldstein is a member
of a number of community or
ganizations. She is also in
terested in many activities
in which her husband, Dr.
Marvin Goldstein, is an ac
tive leader and participant
She is a real trooper, traveling
with Dr. Goldstein to many
foreign countries, including two
trips to Israel.
Mrs. Goldstein is presently
vice president of the Year-
Round Women’s Division of the
Jewish Welfare Fund.
