Sylvia Bernstein studied at the
National Academy of Design in-
New York and toured the art
museums of Europe. She has par
ticipated in numerous major na
tional and international exhibits,
having been the recipient of sev
eral awards including the top
award in the National Association
of Women Artists annual exhibi
tion. Her work has a “dreamy,
mystic quality, and a feeling of
serenity pervades her land
scapes.”

The Atlanta Alumnae Council
of Women’s Colleges will sponsor
a College Night at 8:00 p.m., Wed
nesday, April 6, at E. Rivers
School.
High school students are in
vited to hear representatives of
various women’s colleges discuss
pertinent topics and answer ques
tions. Some of the questions often
asked are: What is a girls’ col
lege like? Is there academic free
dom? Is social life active? Is
there an honor system, and if so,
is it successful? These and other
questions will be discussed at the
meeting.
