Samuel J. Friedman of Salt Lake
City, Utah, and Mr. and Mrs.
Hyman Wolson, formerly of At
lanta, now residing in North Mi
ami Beach. The future bride
groom is the grandson of the late
Dr. and Mrs. Daniel J. Boaz and
the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel M.
Cristol of Lake City, Florida.
The bride-elect attends DeKalb
College where she is studying
Special Education.
The future bridegroom is em
ployed in Atlanta. A June wed
ding is planned.
McCullen—Levy
NASHVILLE—The ballroom of
Andrew Jackson Hotel was the
scene August 29 of the marriage
of Miss Sybil Joyce McCullen
and Dr. Louis Ira Levy. Rabbi
Zalmon Posner officiated with
Rabbi J. Hilowitz assisting.
The bride is the daughter of
Mrs. Cecil Dewey McCullen of
Faison, N. C. Dr. Levy is the
son of Mrs. Ben Kaplan and the
late Saul Levy of Augusta.
Wedding music was furnished
by Mrs. Nathan Taradish, violin
ist.
Dr. Levy was accompanied by
Mr. and Mrs. Kaplan, with Mr.
Kaplan serving as best man.
Miss Pamela McCullen of Fai
son, sister of the bride, was maid
of honor.
The bride was given in mar
riage by Mr. and Mrs. Jack Leib-
owitz, brother-in-law and sister

Wolf, to Joseph S. Lerner Jr.,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S.
Lerner of Kansas City, Mo. The
wedding took place at the Tem
ple, after which the bride’s par
ents entertained at a reception
at the Standard Club.
Sonia Lerner, sister of the
bridegroom was maid of honor.
Best man was Terry Lerner, bro
ther of the bridegroom. Ushers
were Richard Wolf and Kenneth
Wolf, brothers of the bride, and
Mack Lerner, brother of the
bridegroom.
Mr. and Mrs. Lerner are on
their honeymoon in San Juan,
Puerto Rico.
Schulman—Levy
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schul
man of Atlanta announce the en
gagement of their daughter Anita
Schulman to Philip Simon Levy,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Levy
of Tampa.
The bride-elect received her
BBA degree from the University
of Georgia, where she was elect
ed to Phi Kappa Phi.
Mr. Levy atteneded the Uni
versity of South Florida and the
University of Florida and has
served in the U. S. Navy.
The wedding will take place
November 20 in the Shearith Is
rael Synagogue.

of Mrs. Jack Barth of Chicago,
and the late Mr. Barth. Lt. Barth
was graduated from New Trier
High School in Winnetka, Ill. He
received his B.S. degree in busi
