Miss Berman was graduated

grandson of the late Rabbi and
Mrs. David Karesh, of Columbia.
Mr. Bloom attended the Uni
versity of South Carolina, where
he was a member of Phi Mu Al
pha, honorary music fraternity.
He is employed by the IBM
Corporation, in Atlanta.

Mr. Bauer was graduated from
Vanderbilt University where he

Mr. Bauer is presently attending
Emory University School of Law
where he is a member of Phi
Delta Phi. He will receive his
doctorate of law in June, 1967.

NANCY LYNN WEIS
Weis—Wender
Mr. and Mrs. Sigfried Weis of
Sunbury, Penna., have announc
ed the engagement of their
daughter, Nancy Lynn, to Joseph
Harris Wender. He is the son of
Dr. and Mrs. Simon H. Wender
of Norman, Okla.
Miss Weis graduated from
Mount Vernon Seminary in
Washington, D. C., where she was
a member of the Honor Society,
and attended Northwestern Uni
versity in Evanston, III.
Mr. Wender graduated from
Norman High School in Norman,
Okla., and from Northwestern
University, where he graduated
Summa Cum Laude with Highest
Distinction and received the Del
ta Sigma Pi Key for being the
outstanding graduating scholar
from the School of Business. He
is presently attending Yale Law
School.
The father of the bride-to-be
is president of Weis Markets, Inc.
Miss Weis’ grandfather, Samuel
Campner, was mayor of New
Haven in 1919.
Dr. Wender the father of Jos
eph Wender, is at present a Re
search Professor of Biochemistry
at the University of Oklahoma in
Norman, Okla., and is a member
of the board of directors of the
Oak Ridge Institute of Nuclear
Studies.
A December wedding is plann
