How ever, SF Chib will continue its wide work among both the Jew ish Community and the Christian Community, which it has been doing for years. It will oontinue to furnish entertainment for the bedridden and wheelchair cases at Bay Pine Veterans Hospital; The Crippled Children’s Hospital and the Masoriic Home For the Aged, plus its work among its ill and home-confined mem bers, helping them with their marketing, visits to doctors and various other details required for those that are ill at home and unable to do the daily chores. The Program Committee will meet the coming week for the purpose of outlining and propos ing new forms and types of rec reations. Isadora and Jennie White will leave next week for their visit to their family in Ohio. Loui3 H. Shapiro, one of the hard workers of SF Club, has felt the. pinch of adversity through illness, not cnly to him self, but this week his wife Jen nie went down under an ill spell and has been confined to her home. However, Louis has fully recovered from his recent opera tion and he gives thought to the coming marriage of his grandson Richard Kuzmack in Utica, N.Y., on August 26. Louis and Jennie had planned to attend the cere monies, but have been forced to forego the trip. A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of SF Club will be held on Friday, Aug. 25, for the purpose of arranging for the new season’s work and for the accep tance of resignations and appoint ments of new members to the board to fill vacancies. Florenoe Ganz will act as Chairman of the meeting at her home, 1000 64th Avenue So. at 1:30 p. m. filters through on the brighter side. Harry Kaye is stil] confined in Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and it is uncertain just when he will be able to return to his home in St. Petersburg. May Robbins has fully recovered and able to attend the meetings and gatherings at Gulfport Beach. Charles Alpart is reported to be doing well but still confined to his home. Kate Cohen also still confined to her home. Sol Eisen- berg at Bayside Manor is able to get out for short strolls about the rest home. Gussle Ganz doing exceptionally well at the Fair View Home.
