300 War Criminals

BONN (JTA)—A total of 686
war crimes cases, many of them
involving several times that
number of suspects, are still be
ing probed by the Central Agen
cy for the Investigation of Nazi
War Crimes, it was announced
here by Dr. Adelbert Ruokeri, the
new head of the agency, which is
located at Ludwigsburg, near
Stuttgart.
He said the recent scanning of
archives on the Nazi era by some
of his investigators, who had
been given access to documenta
tion in Prague and Warsaw, had
resulted in the uncovering of
more than 300 new cases. The
recent Soviet Government an
nouncement that it would allow
West German probers to examine
its records in Moscow is ex
pected to produce still more
cases, Dr. Ruckeri said.
Ilse Koch, “the beast of Buch-
enwald,” who had been serving
a life sentence at a prison at
Aichach, Upper Bavaria, com
mitted suicide there this week
end, according to an announce
ment by the Bavarian Ministry
of Justice. Convicted for, among
other crimes, making lamp
shades out of the skins of Jewish
martyrs at the Buchenwald con
centration camp, she was 60. She
had been found dead, hanging
■from a noose made of bedsheets
attached to the bars of her pris
on cell.

privileges, rights and powers enum
erated in Chapter 22-18 of the corpora
tion act of 1938 of the Code of Geor
gia, and as the same may be hereafter
amended, and all of the powers and
privileges enumerated therein all
made a part thereof to the same ex
tent as if the same were enumerated
herein.
The corporation shall have the power
to amend, alter, change or repeal any
provision of its Charter in form or
substance upon the vote of two-thirds
of Its outstanding common stock, and
all rights conferred upon stockholders,
directors and officers herein and
granted subject to this reservation.
11.
Applicants desire that the said corp
oration shall have and enjoy all the
privileges, rights and powers enum
erated In Chapter 22-18 of the Corp
oration Act of 1938 of the Code of
Georgia, and as the same may be
hereafter amended, and all of the
powers and privileges enumerated
therein all made a part thereof to the
same extent as If the same were
enumerated herein.
WHEREFORE, petitioners pray an
order to be granted incorporating
them, their associates, successors and
assigns, under the name aforesaid,
with the powers and privileges as
may be necessary proper or Incident
to the conduct of the business for
which petitioners are seeking incorp
oration, and as may be allowed for
private corporations under the terms
of the Act of January 28, 1938, author
izing the chartering of corporation.

TEL AVIV (JTA) — A crack
Israeli soccer aggregation named
the “Six-Day War Victory
Team,” will play four games in
America, between October 8 and
October 18, it was announced
here. A contract for the Ameri
can tour was signed here be
tween the Israeli National Foot
ball Federation and Asher Wolk,
representing the American Soc
cer League.
The Israeli eleven, according
to Mr. Wolk, is set for games in
New York and Los Angeles, and
will probably play also in Toron
to and in Rochester, N.Y. He said
the American Zionist Youth
Federation is co-sponsoring the
tour. He declared also that each
game will feature a “Salute to
Israel.”
WHEREFORE, petitioners pray an
order to be granted Incorporating
them, their associates, successors and
assigns, under the name aforesaid,
with the powers and privileges as may
be necessary proper or Incident to the
conduct of the business for which
petitioners are seeking Incorporation,
and as may be allowed for private
