MISS KANTOR
Kantor—Goldfarb
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Kan
tor of Tampa announce the en
gagement of their daughter,
Adrienne Elizabeth, to Dr. Jer-
rold H. Goldfarb, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Max Goldfarb of Houston,
Tex.
The bride elect is the grand
daughter of Mrs. Mary Stone,
formerly of Atlanta, and the late
A. D. Shukoff.
Miss Kantor was graduated
from Plant High School and at
tended the University of Tampa.
She is employed as a secretary
at the Jones Laughten Steel
Corporation in Houston.
Capt. Goldfarb is a Doctor of
Veterinary Medicine. He receiv--
ed his bachelor of science and
doctor of veterinary medicine
degrees from Texas A & M.
University. He is presently
serving in the Armed Forces.
Capt. Goldfarb has been assign
ed to the Pentagon in Washing
ton.
The wedding will be held in
Houston on December 9, at the
Westwood Country Club. Rabbi
Robert I. Kahn of Congregation
Temple Emanuel will officiate.
Smith—Horwitz
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Smith
of Hampton and Virginia Beach,
Va., announce the engagement of
their daughter, Barbara Lynn
Smith, to Kenneth Merrill Hor
witz, son of Mrs. Sidney A. Hor
witz of Atlanta and the late Mr.
Horwitz.
The bride-elect is the grand
daughter of Mrs. Nathan Brown
of Norfolk and the late Mr.
Brown and the late Mr. and Mrs.
David Smith of Newport News,
Va.
Miss Smith attends Emory
University, where she is a mem
ber of Alpha Epsilon Phi.
Mr. Horwitz is the grandson of
Mrs. Aaron Rappaport of Toron
to, Can., and the late Mr. Rap
paport and Joseph Horwitz and
the late Mrs. Horwitz.
The future bridegroom receiv
ed his BS degree in applied
psychology from Georgia Tech,
where he was a member of Phi
Epsilon Pi and president of the
Young Democrats. He is a senior
at the Emory University Law
School, where he is a member
of Phi Alpha Delta, and is on
the Board of Governors of the
Fulton County Democratic
Party.
Skorman—Jacobs
Mrs. Milton M. Skorman of
Atlanta announces the engage
ment of her daughter, Joan
Susan Skorman, to Jon Stephen
Jacobs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse
J. Jacobs of Miami Beach. The
bride-elect is the daughter of the
late Mr. Skorman.
Miss Skorman received a de
gree of medical office assistant
from the DeKalb Area Technical
Sohool and is employed in At
lanta. She was a member of the
Alpha Epsilon Pi sweetheart
court at Georgia State College.
Mr. Jacobs was graduated
from Emory University, where
he was an officer of Tau Epsilon
Phi, and attends the Pennsyl
vania College of Optometry.
A summer wedding is planned.

Miss Marx will graduate in
March from the University of

Mr. Cohen was graduated from
Ohio State University. with a
B.S. and a M.B.A. He was a
member of Zeta Beta Tau Fra
ternity. He is associated with the
firm of Blumberg and Cohen

Oser—Parver
Clarice Oser became the bride
of Chester Parver, at a double
ring ceremony at the Progressive
Club, on November 2. Rabbi
Harry Epstein and Cantor Isaac
Good friend officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Oser of
Atlanta. Mr. Farver’s parents are

Israelite.
The bride was given in mar
riage by her father, Theodore
Oser. Michael Parver was his
brother’s best man. Mrs. Bernice
