be Incorporated under the name and

ATLANTA CADILLACS, INC.
for a period of thirty five years.

The object of the corporation Is
pecuniary gain to Itself and Its stock
holders.
3.
The general nature of the business
to be transacted Is the business of
purchasing, renting, servicing and
selling at wholesale or retail various
Items of personal property, and In
particular, new and used automobiles,
trucks, trailers, accessories, parts and
all articles pertaining to the auto
mobile Industry. In connection with
the aforesaid business, It shall have
the power to engage In the buying,
selling or dealing In real or personal
property of any nature, such business
to be conducted either as principal oi
agent for others, under franchises or
otherwise. The corporation shall havo
the power to lease, buy, dispose of,
sell, exchange and acquire all kinds
of real. Intangible and personal prop
erty, to barrow and give security
therefor to the lender, and shall have
such other powers as are necessary
or proper to carry on the foregoing
businesses, and to all things inciden
tal to or necessary for the carrying
out of the purposes and objects of
this corporation.

The corporation shall have tho
power to enter Into agreements of
partnership, either with other corp
orations or with Individuals, shall be
empowered to engage In business
under fictitious or tradenames, as
provided by law, and to guarantee,
endorse, or become surety on debts,
obligations, contracts or notes of any
person, firm, association or corpora
tion, whether or not the undertaking
be purely as an accommodation, and
whether or not It relates to any mat
ters In which the corporation has a di
rect Interest.
5.
The authorized capital stock of the
corporation shall consist of 10,000
shares of common stock of a par
value of Two ($2.00) Dollars per
share.
6.
The minimum capital with which
the corporation shall commence busi
ness shall be Twenty Thousand ($20,-
000.00) Dollars.
7.
The principal office of the corpora
tion shall be In Fulton County, Geor
gia, with the right to establish offices
and places of business elsewhere.
WHEREFORE, petitioners pray to be
Incorporated under the name and style
aforesaid, with all the rights, powers
and privileges herein set forth and as
are now or may hereafter be allowed
corporations of similar character
under the laws of Georgia.

It appearing that the petition Is
within the purview of the laws of the
state of Georgia and that all require
ments of law have been fully com
plied with and there having been sub
mitted a certificate Issued by the Sec
retary of State declaring that the
name of the proposed corporation Is
not the name of any other now exist
ing corporation registered In the rec
ords of Secretary of State, the prayers
of said petition are hereby granted
and said corporation Is hereby created
under said name with all of the rights
and privileges prayed for, together
with those rights and powers granted
by law to corporations of like charac
ter.

Mary Jo Hixon, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Harold D. Hixon Jr., find
Edward David Solomon, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Sam B. Solomon of
Atlanta were married June 6 in
the chapel of the Temple. Rabbi
Jacob M. Rothschild officiated.
The bride was given in marriage
by her father and Mrs. David,
Hixon III was matron of honor.
Mr. Solomon was his son’s best
man.
A reception was given by the
bride’s parents. After a wedding
trip to San Juan, Puerto Rioo, the
newlyweds live in Atlanta.

Murry Marcus, and Samuel Elkins
son of Mrs. Isie Elkins of Alma,
and the late Mr. Elkins, were
married June 9 at noon in the

1. Petitioners desire to be Incorp
orated for a period of thirty-five (35)
years with the privilege of renewal
under the name of BOOK SALES CO.,
INC.
2. The principal office of the Corp
oration shall be In Fulton County,
Georgia, with the privilege of estab
lishing branch offices elsewhere.
3. The object of said corporation la
pecuniary gain and profit.
4. The general nature of the busi
ness to be transacted by the corpora
tion is the manufacturing, wholesaling,
retailing magazine, books, and pam
phlets.
The corporation shall have the right
to buy, sell, rent, own, lease, real
estate, and to do any and all acts or
things necessary or Incidental to
carry out the purposes of the corp
oration.
5. The capital stock shaU consist of
1000 shares of no par common stock,
which may be Issued and disposed of
by the corporation for such consid
eration In money, property or services.
The corporation shall begin business
with a paid In capital of not less than
One Thousand ($i000.00) Dollars.
8. The corporation on a 3/4 vote of
the stockholders of said corporation
shall If desired Increase the numbers
of shares at 100,000 shares.

they be granted a charter under the
name and in the particulars set out

Gus Gibbs.
Mr. and Mrs. Marcus enter
tained with a luncheon at the
Tifton Elks Lodge. Later, Mr. and
Mrs. Elkins left on a wedding trip
to Las Vegas. They will reside in
Athens where both are students at
the University of Georgia.

setting Sunday evening, June 16,
for the wedding of Miss Sydney
Carol Solomon, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Samuel J. Solomon,
and Steven Marc Ratnow, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Ratnow of
Bronx, N. Y. Rabbi A. I. Rosen
berg performed the ceremony.
The bride was given in mar
riage by her parents.
Mrs. Harold Solomon was
matron of honor and brides
maids were Miss Annette Sher
man, Miss Judy Fox, Miss Bette
Homansky, Mrs. Lloyd Goodman
and Miss Ellen Feldman.

Dr. Harold Solomon, Dr. Stan
ley Wright, Lloyd Goodman and
Arthur Geffen.
A reception was given at the
synagogue.
Mr. and Mrs. Ratnow will res
ide in Chicago, where he is
studying for his Ph.D in clinical
psychology at Loyola University.

Miss Jennifer Taylor and Harry
Blumenthal were married on Sun
day, May 26, in New York. The
wedding was solemnized by Rabbi
Edward E. Klein in the garden of
the Martha Graham Foundation.
The bride is the daughter of Dr.
and Mrs. Harold Taylor of New
York. Mr. Blumenthal is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Saul) M. Blumen
thal of Atlanta and the grandson
of Mrs. Rose Blumenthal of Sa
vannah.
Mrs. A. Lehner was her sister’s
matron of honor. Dr. Jerry Blum
enthal acted as best man for his
brother. Bridesmaids were Miss
Cathy Blumenthal, sister of the
groom, and Miss Lynn Rockwell.
Groomsmen were A. Lehner, Ste
ven Orenstein and Jonathan
Prude.
After a wedding trip to New
England, Mr. and Mrs. Blumen
thal will be living in Boulder,
