TO THE SUPERIOR COURT
OF SAID COUNTY:
The application of THEODORE G.
FRANKEL. JANIE M. FRANCIS and
SAMUEL A. MILLER shows to the
Court the following:
1.
Applicants desire to obtain a char
ter for a corporation to be known as
"MBM CORP”
2.
The general nature of the business
to be transacted by the corporation
Is that of lending money, financing
and purchasing notes, bonds, stock,
paper and securities evidencing In
debtedness of every kind and char
acter, with or without security, In
cluding but not limited to the buying,
negotiating handling and dealing In
negotiable and non-negotiable notes,
bonds, stock, paper and securities by
real and personal property of every
kind and character, together with sec
ondary financing of every character,
and to do all things incidental
thereto.
3.
The maximum number of shares of
stock which said corporation shall be
authorized to Issue shall be 300,000
shares of common stock, each share
having a par value of $1.00, or a total
of $300,000.00, the holders of said
common stock will have all of the
voting power In the corporation. There
shall be no stock without par value.
4.
The corporation shall begin busi
ness with a paid-in capital of not less
than $50,000.00.
5.
The corporation shall have existence
for a period of 35 years with the
right of renewal as provided by law.
8.
The principal office of the corpora
tion shall be located in Fulton Coun
ty, Georgia, with the privilege of es
tablishing branch offices and places of
business elsewhere.
7.
The name and post office address
of each applicant is:

privileges and exemptions given to sim
ilar corporations by the laws of the
State of Georgia and as herein pray
ed.
WHEREFORE, applicants pray that
they be granted a charter under the
name “MBM CORP.” as provided in
applicable statutes of this State.

The foregoing application having
been presented to the Court and upon
examination of same, together with a
certificate from the Secretary of State
of the State of Georgia declaring that
the name of the proposed corporation
is not the name of any other then
existing corporation registered on the
records of the Secretary of State, and
it appearing that said application is
legitimately within the purview and
intention of the laws of this State,
the said application is granted and
charter allowed under the name of
MBM CORP., with all the rights,
powers, privileges and exemptions
granted to similar corporations by the
laws of this State.

Fortas nomination struggle to
that which followed the nomi
nation of Justice Louis D. Bran-
deis, the first Jew named to the
U. S. Supreme Court. He said
the Fortas case was a “test of
America’s commitment to the
ideals of fellowship and brother
hood” and assailed those who
have remained silent on the For
tas issue. But, Sen. Clark dis
closed that his mail has been
running 11 to one against the
Fortas confirmation. He made
his remarks as the Senate Ju
diciary Committee approved the
Fortas nomination by a 10 to
six vote and sent it to the full
Senate. There a filibuster was
threatened by the anti-Fortas
senators led by Sen. Robert P.
Griffin, Michigan Republican. A
two-thirds majority would be
required to choke off filibuster.
Officials Report New Jewish
Home Fund In Second Phase

“The Jewish community has
responded magnificently to the
building fund campaign for the
new Jewish Home,” it was an
nounced by M. Wm. Breman,
president of the Central Board,
and Dan Garson, chairman of
the Campaign Cabinet.
Their statement noted: “Thus
far, 895 contributors have pledg
ed liberally for the new Home,
and % of the fund raising goal
has been met. However, con
tinued assistance is needed from
the total Jewish community if the
