married to David Weinstein and
spent a very happy honeymoon
in the north. David and Eva
Weinstein will say goodbye to
their many friends in St. Peters
burg and take up permanent res
idence in North Miami.

gia, respectively shows:

That they desire for themselves,
their associates, successors and assigns,
to be Incorporated under the name and
style of
LEW GREEN ASSOCIATES, INC.
for the term of thirty-five (35) years.
2.
The principal office of said business
shall be located In Fulton County, with
the right and privilege of establishing
branch offices and places of business
elsewhere, both within and without the
State of Georgia.
3.
The object of said corporation Is
pecuniary gain to itself and Its stock
holders.
4.
The general nature of the business
to be transacted by said corporation
shall be that of appliance and furni
ture dealer both wholesale and retaii,
the purchasing and selling of any and
all types of goods, wares and mer
chandise and also for the purpose of
entering Into all types of businesses,
and to do all and everything Incidental
to carrying on said business.
5.
The Capital Stock of said corporation
shall be $25,000.00, divided Into two
thousand, five hundred (2,500) shares
at the Par value of $10.00 each, all of
which shall be common stock.

The amount of capital with which
corporation shall begin business Is
$200 00, and all the capital shall be paid
Into the corporation In money, property
or a combination of the two

To acquire and pay In cash, stocks or
bonds of this corporation or otherwise
r ®* 1 and persona' property. The good
will rights, assets and profits, and to
undertake or assume. In whole or any
unT»i thereof, the obligations or lia
bilities of any person, firms, association
or corporation.

To issue bonds, mortgages, deeds to
secure debt, other indentures for the
purpose of securing any obligation of
said corporation.
9.
Said corporation shall be authorized
to Issue stock for any consideration,
either money, property or services,
which Is at least equivalent to the full
par value of the stock so to be Issued,
The valuation of any property or serv
ices for such purpose will be fixed by
the Directors of the Corporation and
such method of valuation will be con
clusive.
10.
The corporation shall have the power
to amend, alter, change or repeal any
provision of its Charter In form or
substance upon the vote of two-thirds
of Its outstanding common stock, and
all rights conferred upon stockholders,
directors and officers herein and
granted subject to this reservation.
11.
Applicants desire that the said cor
poration shall have and enjoy all the
privileges, rights and powers enumer
ated In Chapter 22-18 of the corporation
act of 1938 of the Code of Georgia, and
as the same may be hereafter amend
ed. and all of the powers and privileges
enumerated therein all made a part
thereof to the same extent as If the
same were enumerated herein.
WHEREFORE, Petitioners pray an
order to be granted Incorporating
them, their associates, successors and
assigns, under the name aforesaid, with
the powers and privileges as may be
necessary proper or incident to the
conduct of the business for which
petitioners are seeking Incorporation,
and as may be allowed for private
corporations under the terms of the
act of January 28, 1938, authorizing the
chartering of corporations.

of the proposed corporation Is not the
name of any now existing corporation
registered In the records of the State

Plans have been completed for
the SF Club’s New Year’s Eve
Party on December 31 in the
Jewish Community Center. There
will be a special five piece orch
estra; a delicious repast will be
served against a background of
true friendship and happiness.
Price of admission $3 for mem
bers in good standing and $4 for
visitors.
Sadness again permeated the
very depths of SF Club, with the
death an October 3, of Edward
L. Anderson, a member of the
entertainment staff. He was a
retired superintendent of railroad
police. He was 81 years of age,
and the husband of the late Lura
E. Anderson. He was also a mem
ber of the Chicago Federation of
Musicians; St. Cecelia Lodge No.
865, F&AM. He is survived by his
grandson, James J. Graf, of Sko
kie, HI.; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie
Nesbit, of Waterloo, la., and Mrs.
Norma Banta of Denver, Colo.;
and a brother Vernon L. Ander
son, of Arlington, Va. Services
were held October 6 with the Rev.
Ralph M. Lleywellyn officiating.
Pearl Shenker, battling a long
illness, was again removed from
her home last Thursday to the
Palms of Pasadena Hospital.
Jack Bernstein, first violinist of
the SF Orchestra, is quite in de
mand these days for theatrical
appearances in prominent dubs
and hotels in the Sunshine City.
Jack has also decided to open a
school for the teaching of vio
lin.
Jennie Giniger has resigned as
one of the committee women at
large for SF Club. Reason: Jen
nie’s new address will be in Mi
ami.
Isadore Gewirtzman is hitting
on “all 8” again after a long spell
of illness. He attended the open
ing of the club’s new season and

first session of the season. Among
the visitors were Mrs. Marge Cul
ver, daughter-in-law of Frances
Kellogg. New members introduc
ed were Rose Einstein, Rhoda

all of Tampa.
Harry and Bella Kaplow have
sold their five acre estate and
will take up comfortable quarters
in a new high rise apartment.

of the Jaycees, the Miss Georgia

tees and legal counsel. Mr. Har
ris is on the Board of Directors
of Kiwanis and is a past presi
dent of Columbus B’nai B’rith,
Lodge No. 77. He currently serves
as first vice president of Georgia
State Association of B’nai B’rith
and he is a member of the South
eastern Regional Advisory Board
of the Anti-Defamation League.
He is married to the former
Judye Spielberger of Columbus,
and they are the parents of four
children, Alvin 9, Wendy 8, Tracy
6, and Beth 4.
