AZA 134
AZA Chapter L. J. Levitas No.
134’s year got off to a great start
by having a very successful Suk-
kot evening program on October
6 at the home of Hal Rabinowitz,
one of the chapter Alephs. The
Friday before the event the
chapter members built a Sukka
which was planned to be used,
but due to rain the program was
held indoors.
The guest speaker was Larry
Schwartz, director of education
at the Temple. Mr. Schwartz’s
topic was “Sukkot, its history,
the way it was celebrated by our
forefathers, and the method of
celebration today.”
Mr. Rabinowitz made the Kid-
dush and then everyone partici
pated in refreshments.

Next to the real satirical complex of the current political scene,
the “Cracker Crumble” is the best show of the political year. This
program will be mounted at the Marriott the evening of Saturday,
Oct. 26, by the Georgia Press Association which can be contacted
for reservations. Proceeds from the $25 a person dinner-show are
used to help aspiring journalists complete college education. Sam
