Capt. and Mrs. Rubin left on
a wedding trip to Canada and
will spend Thanksgiving in New
York City. They will make their
home in Savannah where he iS
stationed at Hunter Army Air
field.
Goldstein—Stine
Dr. and Mrs. Howard Gold
stein of Montgomery, announce
the engagement of their daughter,
Sondra Anita Goldstein, to Jules
J. Stine of Atlanta, son of the
late Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Stine.
The bride-elect received her
BFA degree in music from New
comb College of Tulane Universi
ty, where she was a member of
Alpha Epsilon Phi. She is em
ployed as a music teacher with
Jim Scott’s Piano and Organ
Studios in Atlanta.
Mr. Stine received his BS de
gree in chemistry from the Uni
versity of Georgia. He is a direc
tor of the J. Regenstein Co. in
Atlanta and is lessee of the Re-
genstein’s Shoe Department.
The wedding will be held De
cember 8 at the Temple Beth-Or
in Montgomery.

Libowsky—Cohn
Elaine Libowsky, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Libowsky of
Atlanta, became the bride of
Alan Cohn, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Leslie A. Cohn of Kansas City,
Mo. The wedding took place No
vember 17 at the Shearith Israel
Synagogue.
The bride was given away by
her mother and father. Miss Bar
bara Libowsky, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor, and
Mrs. Martin Libowsky, sister-in-
law of the bride, was matron of
honor. Bridesmaids were Miss
Phyllis Libowsky, sister of thfc
bride, Mrs. Joel Butler and Mrs.
Benson Caplan.
Martin Libowsky, brother of
the bride, was best man. Grooms
men were Michael dayman,
Richard Klein of Houston, Jim
Hinsdale, and Joel Butler. Jack
Rosenberg and Gene Komblum
served as ushers.
Miss Sharon Rosenberg served
as flower girl, and Master Joey
Libowsky of Milwaukee was
ring bearer. Mrs. Alan Goodman
kept the bride’s book, and Mrs.
Bruce Goldman, Mrs. Macy
Moret, Mrs. Mickey Solomon, and
Mrs. Jules Weiner assisted in
seating.
After the ceremony, the bride’s
parents entertained with a seated
dinner. The couple is honeymoon
ing in Nassau, and then will
reside in Atlanta.

of Captain Kenneth Edward Ru
bin, U.S.A., son of Mr. and Mrs.
Ben Rubin of Charleston, S.C.
The ceremony was performed by
Rabbi A. I. Rosenberg and Cantor
Baruch Erblich.
Dr. Sutker gave his daughter
in marriage. Mrs. Fred Allen
Ridley III of Birmingham, was
matron of honor and Miss Dory
Ann Sutker of Tampa, was maid
of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs.
Harold Javetz, Miss Laura Mazo
of Atlanta, and Mrs. Alan Rubin,
Charleston.
Alan Rubin of Charleston was
his brother’s best man. Ushers
were William Pendleton Frank,
Jacksonville; Bernard Michael
Aarons, Atlanta; Capt. Jeffrey
Hugh Thomason, and Jerome Ber.
