RINGS ON THEIR FINGERS
MRS. BLUMENTHAL
Fink—Blumenthal
Miss Elaine Rae Fink and Dr.
Jerome Bruce Blumenthal were
married on Sunday, Feb. 23, at
the Beth Sholom Temple in To
peka, Kans. A reception and
luncheon followed the wedding
oeremony.
Miss Fink is the daughter of
Dr. and Mrs. A. A. Fink of To
peka. She was attended by her
6ister, Mrs. Ray Willis as ma
tron of honor. Bridesmaids were
Misses Marcia and Nancy Fink,
sisters of the bride, and Mrs.
Harry Blumenthal. The bride, a
graduate of the University of
Pennsylvania, received her mas
ters degree from Kansas Univer
sity, and is employed in the De-
Kalb County School system.
Dr. Blumenthal, the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Saul Blumenthal of At
lanta, chose his father as best
man. Groomsmen-ushers were
Harry Blumenthal, brother of
the bridegroom; Dr. Richard
Franco, Harvey Hillman, Gerald
Horowitz, Dr. Steven Sanders,
and Ray Willis. The bridegroom,
a graduate of Emory University
Medical School, is working on a
two-year fellowship in cardiology
at Grady Memorial Hospital.
After a wedding trip to Jamai
ca, Dr. and Mrs. Blumenthal will
reside in Atlanta.

Borochoff—Galkin
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Z. Bor
ochoff of Atlanta announce
the engagement of their daugh
ter, Toby Ann Borochoff, to
Stanley Edison Galkin, son of
Mrs. Harry Galkin and the late
Mr. Galkin, and the nephew of
Joe Galkin of Miami Beach.
The bride-elect is the grand
daughter of Mrs. Isadore Bor
ochoff and the late Mr. Bor
ochoff; Mrs. Louis Sloan and the
late Mr. Sloan.
Miss Borochoff attended the
University of Cincinnati Conser
vatory of Dance where she was
elected Alpha Tau Omega cam
pus sweetheart, and pledged Phi
Sigma Sigma Sorority. She is
presently pursuing studies in
elementary education as a soph
omore at DeKalb College.
The future bridegroom received
his AB degree from Washington
University at St. Louis, where he
was a member of the ZBT social
fraternity. He received his Juris
Doctrate Degree from the Uni
versity of Oklahoma Law School
where he was a member of Pi
Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity.
He is associated with Charles W.
Bergman and plans to continue
his law practice in Atlanta.
The wedding is planned for
May 11. After a trip to San Juan,
Puerto Rico, the couple will
reside in Atlanta.
Goldstein—Weintraub
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Goldstein
of Atlanta announce the engage
ment of their daughter, Leslie
Marilyn Goldstein to Sgt. Ronald
Charles Weintraub, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Bernard Weintraub, of
West Palm Beach, Fla.
The bride-elect is the grand
daughter of Mrs. Sarah Goldstein
of Brooklyn and the late Mr.
Goldstein and Mrs. Hannah Spie
gel of Atlanta and the late Mr.
Spiegel.
Miss Goldstein graduated from
high school and attended Medical
and Dental Assistants School.
Mr. Weintraub attended West
Palm Beach Junior College and is
now serving with the United
States Air Force.
The future bridegroom is the
grandson of Mrs. Rose Weintraub
of Miami Beach and the late Mr.
Weintraub and Mrs. Flora Niem-
tzow of Hollywood, Fla., and the
late Mr. Niemtzow.
The wedding will be held May
25 at the Switzerland House.

Zimmerman—Newman
Sunday evening, Feb. 16, the
Shearith Israel Synagogue was
the setting for the marriage of
Miss Regina ZimmefTnan and
Sidney Newman. The ceremony
was performed by Rabbi Nissim
Wernick, Rabbi Tobias Geffin
and Cantor Robert Unger.
The bride was given in mar
riage by her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Ben Zimmerman, of Atlanta.
Serving as matron and maid of
honor were Mrs. Martin Milstein
and Miss Marsha Zimmerman,
sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids
included Miss Charlene Capilou-
to of Atlanta, Mrs. Bernie Grab-
lowsky of St. Louis, Mrs. Jay
Segal and Miss Arlene Tupper,
cousin of the bridegroom, both of
Memphis. Miss Michelle Milstein,
niece of the bride, served as
flower girl.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Newman of
Memphis, parents of the bride
groom, gave their son in mar
riage, and Mr. Newman served
as best man at the ceremony.
Groomsmen included Martin
Milstein, brother-in-law of the
bride, Martin Rotter, cousin of
the bride, both of Atlanta. Also
serving as groomsmen were
Larry Saripkin, Ben Wagerman
and Raymond Brooks, cousins of
the bridegroom, and Lester
Wener, all of Memphis. Jeffrey
Milstein, nephew of the bride,
was junior groomsman. Serving
as ushers were Dr. Alvin Elster
and John Lewis, cousins of the
bridegroom.
Also included in the wedding
party were Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Zimmerman and Mrs. Frances
Cohen, grandparents of the bride;
Mrs. Louis Gruber, grandmother
of the bridegroom, and Mrs.
Temmie Freedman, great-grand
mother of the bride.
Mrs. Kenneth Andrews and
Miss Anita Silverman, cousin of
the bride, gave out dinner cards.
Miss Deborah Ratter, cousin of
the bride, and Miss Bari Faye
Wagerman, cousin of the bride
groom, kept the brides book.
After the ceremony a reception
and seated dinner was given by
the bride’s parents in honor of
the newlyweds.
Following the honeymoon trip
to Las Vegas, the newlyweds
went to Minot, North Dakota,
where Mr. Newman is presently
stationed at Minot Air Force
Base.
Berber—Kaufman
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Berger of
Atlanta announce the engagement
of their daughter Rosalind Arlene
Berger, to Mannis Kaufman, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kauf
man of Brooklyn.
The bride elect is the grand
daughter of Mrs. Sam Gotliep
and Mrs. Joseph Berger, both of
Atlanta.
Miss Berger graduated from
Dykes High School and attended
the University of Tennessee. The
future bridegroom served in the
air force and attends the Univer
sity of Tennessee.
The wedding will be held in
August.
Caplan—Wineburgh
Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Oaplan
of Atlanta announce the engage
ment of their daughter, Adele
Leah Caplan, to Michael Elliot
Wineburgh, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Samuel J. Wineburgh erf Niagara
Falls, N. Y.
Miss Caplan is presently at
tending Ohio State University.
She will be graduating in June
with a degree in Elementary Ed
ucation.
Mr. Wineburgh attended the
University of Buffalo. He is pre
sently attending the Ohio College
of Podiatry and will receive his
Doctorate erf Podiatric Medicine
in June. He is a member of Kap
pa Tau Epsilon professional fra
ternity.
