Erber-Goldberg
Renae Clair Erber was married
to Edward A. Goldberg on June
1 at the Beth Jacob Synagogue,
with Riabbi Emanuel Feldman and
Cantor Pincus Aloof officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Leo Erber of Atlanta
and the bridegroom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Sol Goldberg of
Charleston.
Mr. and Mrs. Erber gave their
daughter in marriage. Miss Sher
ry Solomon of Houston, Texas,
formerly of Atlanta, was maid of
honor. Mrs. Sandford Goldberg
was matron of honor. Brides
maids were Miss Susan Reisman
of Atlanta, Miss Ilene Reiss of
Atlanta, Miss Lois Silver of
Louisville, and Miss Varda Erber,
cousin of the bride, of Queens,
N. Y.
Mr. Goldberg was his son’s
best man. Groomsmen were Sand-
ford Goldberg of Atlanta, brother
of the groom; Dr. Herbert Gold
berg, of Milwaukee, brother of
the groom; David Blum of At
lanta; Stanley Baker of Charles
ton; Alan Able of Charleston;
and Alan Coleman cxf Charleston.
Mrs. Herbert Goldberg, sister-
in-law of the groom, and Mrs.
Sandford Moret kept the bride’s
book. Mrs. Joel Katz of Knox
ville gave out reservations. -
Miss Donna Kramer, cousin of
the groom, of Savannah was
flower girl. Master Stuie Adler
of Atlanta was ring bearer.
Mr. and Mrs. Erber gave a
seated dinner at the synagogue
following the ceremony.
SPAP June Meeting
Installation of SPAP’s new of
ficers will take place at the June
meeting, on Saturday, June 21,
1969.
There will be a social hour in
the Red Carpet Lounge of Yo-
hanan’s at Lenox Square. Dinner
will be served in the main dining
room at 8:30, followed by
dancing to Yohannan’s regular
orchestra.
The cost will be $4.00 for the
women and $5.00 for the men.
This meeting will be open to
paid-up members only! Reserva
tions and your check should be
sent to Bess Wright, 97 P’tree
Park Dr., N. E., No. F-5. All
reservations must be in by June
18.
The new slate of officers to be
installed is as follows: president,
Berry Rittenbaum; vice president,
Sam Feir; treasurer, Bess Wright;
recording secretary, Ida Matz,
and corresponding secretary, Mil
lie Schanker.
