Family Seder
April 21 at
Ahavath Achim
The Ahavath Achim Congre
gation will hold its annual Con
gregational Family Seder at 7:15
p. m., Tuesday, Apr. 21, at
Srochi Auditorium.
The committee urges members
to observe the first night of
Passover with a home Seder and
invites them to join with friends
and neighbors at the synagogue
on the second night.
Reservations at $10 each for
adults and $7.50 each for chil
dren under 12, can be made at
the synagogue before April 14.
NCJW Evening
Group to Hear
Rabbi Lehrman
The evening group of the Na
tional Council of Jewish Women
will meet Tuesday, Apr. 7, at 8:00
p. m. at the home of Mrs. Rob
ert Levine, 500 Mountain Way,
N. E.
Rabbi Richard Lehrman will
give a book review of "The
Promise.” Reservations can be

Hebrew Academy s
To Air “Show Case”
Drama April 6
The Hebrew Academy will host
a special presentation of ‘The
Eye of the Hurricane,” at 8 p. m.,
Monday, Apr. 6, open to the com
munity.
This “Show Case” performance
is sponsored by the Child Serv
ice and Family Counseling Cen
ter in cooperation with the At
lanta Council on Plays for
Living. Directed by Harold Hall,
“The Eye of the Hurricane”
focuses upon parent-child rela
tionships. Nine-year-old- Jed
Mescon, one of the Hebrew
Academy’s own students, is a
member of the professional com
pany. Jed is the son of Dr. and
Mrs. Michael Mescon.
Following this thirty-minute
presentation, an experienced so
cial worker will lead a discus
sion period.
This play is being presented
nationally in 116 cities. This
performance will be its fifth in
Atlanta this season.
