Zionism, Americanism Have
Same Goals, Say Arabs
Exclusive WUP REPORT
An American Embassy in an
Arab capital has submitted a
document to Washington alerting
U.S. officials as to an intensified
anti-American stand in the Arab
world.
The document included a
translation of a press dispatch,
entitled, “American Policy After
One Year of Nixon’s Presidency
— Wide Zionist Influence in the
White House Opposing the At-
t e mjp t s at Moderation.” It
charged that among the six ad
visors in The White House, who
cling to President Nixon day and
night, four are Zionist Jews —
John Ehrlichman, Daniel Moyni-
pan, Bob Halderman and Henry
Kissinger.” It named P. Harlow
and John Mitchell as the non-
Jewish advisors.
Referring to the special roles
which the Jewish advisors play
in Washington, the Arab dispatch
—which the Embassy found, so
necessary to alert the U.S. about
—“went on to recount as follows:
‘The most dangerous one is
Henry Kissinger. He is proud of
his Zionism, more so than Moshe
Dayan and Abba Eban. He is
the only one throughout the USA
who fills the role of directing
the American President on the
most important issues, namely,
foreign policy, military affairs
and foreign intelligence. Kissin
ger plans American policy for
all parts of the world, but In
view of his Jewish and Zionist
status he gives highest considera
tion to the Middle East area.

“Daniel Moynihan represents
the President’s brain for internal
planning. He was previously ad
visor for labor affairs to Presi
dents Kennedy and Johnson.
“John Ehrlichman is responsi
ble for advising the President on
domestic American affairs, and
Halderman has complete respon
sibility for supervising the inter
nal organizations of the White
House, including meetings of the
President with foreign visitors.”
The dispatch concluded that
"unless those Jewish advisors are
changed, it is clear that Zionist
high-level pressure in the White
House will remain an unsur-
mountable obstacle in the way
of any favorable change in
American policy toward the
Arabs.”
The report, which had been
originally sent from Washington
by Samir Sabry of the Arab
Press Foundation, noted at the
outset that when President Nix
on entered The White House in
January of last year, he had
aroused much Arab optimism
that he might be able to open a
new page in Arab-American re
lations. After the countless
hardships which confronted the
Arabs during the term of office
of the previous President, Lyn
don Johnson, the Arabs had
placed hopes for the future on
America’s new policy under
another President.
“A whole year has now
elapsed,” the dispatch com
plained, “but President Nixon
has not opened the expected
new- page. A brief objective
glance at the causes of stagnation
of Arab-American relations —
constant tension, suspicion and

It is interesting to note that

portant enough to note that the
article “accused ‘Zionist Jewish’
