The move was the organiza tion’s response to a call by U. S. Commissioner of Education James E. Allen for private sec tor involvement in the National Right to Read Program. The summer is an excellent time to ascertain what stumbling blocks exist in the learning pro cess and to make the proper corrective steps, the agency of ficials said. “The right to read is a heri tage of every American,” Dr. James E. Allen declared, “yet ten million youngsters have trouble in this area.” His promo tion of the National Right to Read Program is to insure that by the end of the 1970s, no child will leave school without know ing how to' read. „ ^ 0 /° W ltt*® 4 mb FREE!! oCifnn A • C^oiffeurA 4490 Chamblee Dunwoody Road SPECIAL | Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday HAIRCUT WITH SHAMPOO A SET MONDAY A TUESDAY ONLY BLEACH TOUCH UP $12.50 FROSTING ONLY $12.50 PERMANENT ONLY $12.50 All Week Special Shampoo A Sat w/Cream Rinse $4.00 SPECIAL ON SET & CLEAN WIGS & FALLS ONE DAY SERVICE $1.00 EXTRA t 6 Operators To Choose Prom 6 BAYS PER WEEK Thors.
