Blumenthal of Savannah, took place June 14 at the Jackson ville Jewish Center. Given in marriage by her fa ther, the bride had Mrs. Alan Selmanoff as matron-of-honor. Miss Judy Zuckerman of Mount Vernon, N, Y., and Mrs. Martin Rosenfield of Joplin, Mo., were bridesmaids. Miss Caren Gott lieb, Savannah, and Miss Ellen Sprecher were junior brides maids, and Judy Sprecher of Jacksonville was flower girl. Best man was Mathew Lyba- non of Huntsville, Ala. Ushers were Nathan Hornstein and Ju lius Homstein of Savannah, •David Biller and Bernard Biller of Jacksonville. Scott Selmanoff was ringbearer. A reception followed in the social hall. After a wedding trip to Ja maica, Mr. and Mrs. Blumenthal will make their home in Jack sonville. Glickman-Singer POUND RIDGE, N. Y— Miss Joanne Gale Glickman, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin S. Glickman of New York and Pound Ridge, became the bride of Elliott Hilton Singer on June 7. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Singer of Atlanta. Rabbi Alex J. Goldman performed the ceremony in the garden of the Glickman’s home. The bride attended St. John’s School in San Juan, Puerto Rico, while her father was president of the Pan American Paper Bag Co. in nearby Bayamon. She is an alumna of Knox School in St. James, L. I., and attended Finch College. Mr. Singer, a graduate of Tu- lane University, holds a master’s degree in business administra tion from New York University. He is director of advertising and public relations with Am- prop, Inc. of Miami. Huth-Ziglin SAVANNAH— Miss Rochelle Huth, daughter of Mrs. Ernest Huth and the late Mr. Huth, became the bride of Alan Leon ard Ziglin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max E. Ziglin of Atlanta, on June 14 in the B’nai B’rith Jacob Synagogue. Rabbi Abraham I. Rosenberg officiated with Can tor Baruch Ehrlich assisting. Given in marriage by Ronald Alden Silver of Miami Beach, the bride had her sister, Mrs. Ronald A. Silver, as matron of honor. Miss Ellen Jeffords, Atlanta, Miss Elsa Brueck, and Miss Lynn Rosenzweig were bridesmaids, and Miss Susan Rosenzweig, junior bridesmaid. Best man was Charles A.' Buchberg of Atlanta. Ushers were Danny Boaz, Fred Minsk of Atlanta, Jay Rosenzweig and Carl Ziglin, the bridgeroom’s brother. A dinner party followed in the social hall. After a wedding trip to North Carolina, Mr. and Mrs. Ziglin will make their home in Athens. Aron Glasman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Glas man of Worcester, Mess., June 21 at the Temple. Rabbi Jacob Rothschild officiated. The bride was given in mar riage by her father and her step father, David Lang Jr. Mrs. Eee B. Plant HI, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridal attendants were Lau ren Leb of Birmingham; Jill Meyer of Miami, and Mrs. Rich ard Arnovitz of Ft. Ord, Calif. Mrs. Michael Cutson kept the bride’s book. Gerald Fine of Takahoma, Md., was best man. Usher- groomsmen were Nicholas Fleischer of Worcester, Mass.; John Rothberg of Philadelphia, John Lang, Rich Lang, Michael Epstein, and Kenneth Weiss and Michael Weiss, brothers of the bride. The reception was given by Mr. and Mrs. Morton Louis Weiss and Mr. and Mrs. David Lang Jr., at the home of the latter. After a wedding trip to Ber muda, the newlyweds will live in Alexandria, Va., where Mr. Glasman is associated with Drug Fair, Inc. Swimmer-Martin STRATFORD, Conn.—Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Swimmer announce the engagement of their daugh ter, Ruth, to Dr. Lawrence Mar tin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Martin of Savannah. The wedding will be held July 4 in Stratford. Miss Swimmer, a graduate of the University of Connecticut was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and attends medical school at Downstate Medical C e n t er, Brooklyn. A graduate of Jenkins High School and the University of Georgia, Dr. Martin received his medical degree from the Univer sity of Florida and is a' resident in internal medicine at Kings County Hospital, Brooklyn.
