Former Atlantan
! A Miami Beach newspaper col
umnist has lauded the efforts of
a former Atlanta woman, Rose
Goldstein Anderson, in a charity
campaign.
Paul M. Bruun, in a recent
"Bruun Over Miami” column re
counting the success of the
"Send a Miami Beach Child to
Camp** program, had this to say
about Mrs. Anderson.
“I wish that those of you who
are making this magnificent
"Send a Miami Beach Child to
Camp” program could be ex
posed for a few minutes to Rose
Anderson, of the Miami Beach
Social Service and Welfare De
partment She is really enthused,
ft is contagious. Sitting next to
her a the luncheon hosted by
Chuck Kramer of the Shelborne
Motel this week was worth far
more than the energy this cam
paign has required. Her face
lights up like a Roman Candle
in a 4th of July fireworks dis
play at the mere mention of . a
child being permitted to go to
camp. Life is- beautiful. It is
more beautiful because of all
the beautiful people who
care ...”
Mrs. Anderson, the former
Rose Goldstein, was affiliated
for many years with the Atlan
ta Federation of Jewish chari
ties She is the sister of Mrs. Ida
Le vitas.
