AUGUSTA— Miss Jacqueline
Blather Barab and Marvin Jay
Weinberger exchanged wedding
vows in a ceremony June 13 at
the Walton Way Temple. Rabbi
Norman M. Goldburg officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur S. Barab
of Aiken. Parents of the groom
are Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell S.
Weinberger of Louisville, Ky.
Harry Sonnheim served as
best man. Ushers were Ronald
E. Barab and Jeffrey B. Barab,
brothers of the bride; Robert
Kallus; and Howard Rosenberg,
cousin of the bride.
Mrs. Henry Stevens was ma
tron of honor. Bridesmaids were
Miss Claudia Coplon;Miss Linda
Lance; Mrs. Philip Morrison,
cousin of the bride; and Mrs.
Ira Mersack, sister of the groom.
Following the ceremony a
buffet and dinner dance was
held in Friedman Hall of Wal
ton Way Temple.
After a wedding trip to
Charleston, S. C., the couple will
live in Atlanta.

The marriage of Meli Davis,
Elkins Park, Pa., daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. David Davis of
Atlanta, to Harold S. Kaye of
Atlanta took place Sunday, June
6 in Atlanta.
The former Miss Davis is one
of this country’s leading dancer-
mimes. Known for her one-
woman shows revolving around
the antics of a lady clown
named “Mrs.,” she has frequ
ently been described by the
critics as the “female Marcel
Marceau.”

She has performed at the
Academy of Music and Robin
Hood Dell in Philadelphia, the
Berkshire Music Center, Tangle-
wood, Mass., and for the At-
Atlanta Cultural Series. She
has also appeared as guest
artist with the Pennsylvania
Ballet.
Mr. Kaye is a virologist at
the Center for Disease Control
in Atlanta.
The couple recently returned
from a wedding trip to Jekyll
Island and now reside in At
lanta.

of Elgin, Ill., became the bride

riage by her father. Her sister,
Mrs. Richard Armstrong of

Rochester, N. Y., Michael Froel-
ich and Ricky Froelich.
The reception and wedding
supper was held at Switzerland
House. Mrs. Albert X. Tarica
and Mrs. Lawence Quinn of Chi
cago, were in charge of the
guest book.
Following a wedding trip to
Mexico, the newlyweds will
live in Atlanta.

Andrey Ellen Borochoff and
Michael David Sherman ex
changed nuptial vows Sunday,
June 20, in a garden ceremony
at the Atherton, Calif., home of
the bride’s parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Marvin F. Borochoff.
The bride is a graduate of
Menlo Atherton High School,
and the University of California,
Berkeley, where she was affil
iated with Alpha Omicron Pi
Sorority. She has been working
as a stewardess with Delta Air
Lines.
The bridegroom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Sherman
of Silver Spring. He was gradu
ated from American University
and did graduale work at Pur
due University. He is an eco
nomic consultant with Mathe-
matica Inc. in Bethesda, Md.

His fraternity is Tau Kappa
Epsilon.

Mrs. Allen Morris of Silver
Spring were the honor attend
ants. Bridesmaids were Susan
Wentz and Mrs. Norman Stan

bride, and Pat Parkinson a fel
low stewardess. Junior brides
maids were Miss Debbie Bor
ochoff, the bride’s sister and
Shelly and Leslie Morris, both
nieces of the bridegroom.
Allen Morris, the bridegroom’s
brother-in-law was best man.
Ushers were Steve Borochoff,
brother of the bride, Dr. Donald
Kraft, Barry Gould, Mike Ep
stein and Ed Silliman.
After a reception, the newly
weds left for a honeymoon to
Mexico. Upon their return they
will live in Silver Spring, Md.
