Women’s Division
A meeting of the Year Round
Women’s Division of the Atlanta
Jewish Welfare Federation will
be held at 10 a. m., Tuesday,
July 27, at the home of Mrs.
Saul Becker.
Winners of the pre-telethon
prizes this year were Mrs. Her-,
man Borenetein, Mrs. Arthur
Cohen, Mrs. Melvin J. Kahanow,
Mrs H. Kresses, Mrs. Benjamin
Krugman, Mrs. Ira Pratt, Mrs.
Hugh E. Sabel and Mrs. Ber
tram Weiland.
The winners are chosen from
women responding with checks
to a mailing sent shortly before
the telethon. Prizes this year
were donated by the following:
American Motor Hotel, Atlanta
Braves, Atlanta Falcone, Davi
son’s, Rich’s, Lord and Taylor,
Raim Fifth Avenue.
Mrs. Jake Friedman, Mrs.
Harris Jacobs and Mrs. Dave
Rothfarb were chairmen of the
1971 Dial-A-Pledge Division, to
which more than 1300 women
contributed.
