Goren Takes Son, Family
Back to Jerusalem For Bar Mitzva
Jacob Goren, director of the
Israel Government Tourist Of
fice of the Southeastern States,
is in Israel with his wife and
four children to celebrate the
Bar Mitzva of his son David at
the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
David, a native of Jerusalem,
came to Atlanta with his par
ents two years ago. He just
graduated from the Hebrew
Academy here and is enrolled
as a student at the Yeshiva in
Atlanta for next year.
The Gorens will be back in
Atlanta the beginning of Sep
tember, ‘71 and will stay here
for another three years until

I am going to set an example
myself,” said Mr. Goren before
leaving to Israel.

hold a Theater Party to see the
Broadway show “Cabar e t ”
under the Theater of the Stars
at Atlanta’s Civic Center on
Saturday, August 14.

the after-theater hosts. Dessert
will be served at their home.
