Ed Krick
Edward Krick was re-elected
president of the Zionist Organ
ization of America’s Atlanta
District at the May 30 meeting
which featured a talk by Rabbi
Joseph Stemstein.
Serving with Mr. Krick will
bo these officers: Joe Franco,
Harold Marcus, Morris Smith,
vice presidents; Bernard Hal-
pern, treasurer; Louis Geffen,
secretary; Dr. Herbert Karp,
parliamentarian.
Bob Travis, installing officer,
charged the new officers and di
rectors with the responsibility
of involving the young people of
the community into the activ
ities of Zionist Work.
He further stated, “The youth
are anxious to be identified
with the Jewish peoplehood. It
is our obligation and responsi
bility to reach out and bring
them back into the fold.”

investigating vandalism at the
American Cultural Center here.
Plate glass windows were smash
ed the night of May 22-23 and
slogans (ailing for a “Viet Cong
Victory” and likening the US to
Nazi Germany were painted on
the walls. The Foreign Ministry
expressed regrets to the US Em
bassy over the damage to Amer
ican property.
