Mrs. Leah Friedman Randy Fagijt
Mrs. Edward G. Friedman,
the former Leah Gershon, of
Atlanta died Wednesday, July
26.
Graveside services were held
July 27 at Crest Lawn Mem
orial Park with Rabbi Alvin M.
Sugarman officiating.
Mrs. Friedman was born in
Atlanta and was a member of
the Temple.
Survivors include a daughter,
Mrs. Philip Krugman of At
lanta; sisters, Mrs. Anne Ros
ser of Atlanta, Mrs. Haskell
Fink of Switzerland, Miss Pol
ly Gershon of Miami Beach
and Mrs. Sol Levine and Mrs.
Minus Goodrich, both of San-
dersville; a brother, Joseph
Gershon of Atlanta; two grand
daughters and a grandson.
Mrs. Elizabeth Fein
Mrs. Elizabeth Fein of Atlan
ta died Thursday, July 27.
Funeral services were held
July 30 in Birmingham with
Rabbi Mark Elovitz officiating.

daughters, Mrs. Harry Siegel
and Mrs. Harry Gerson, both of
Atlanta and Mrs. Bert Traxler
of Los Angeles; grandchildren
and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Frieda Rosenzweig
Mrs. Frieda Rosenzweig, 87,
of Atlanta died Monday, July
24, while visiting in New York.
Graveside services were held
in Crest Lawn Memorial Park
with Rabbi David H. Auerbach
officiating.
Mrs. Rosenzweig was bom in
Germany and came to Atlanta
in 1939. She was the widow of
Siegfried Rosenzweig. She was
a member of Shearith Israel
Congregation, Pioneer Women
and the Over 50 Club.
Survivors include a daughter,
Mrs. Melly Wolff of New York
City; son, Paul Rosenzweig of
Atlanta; two grandchildren, one
great-grandchild and several
nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Sophie Watters
Funeral for Mrs. Sophie Wat
ters, 74, of Aiken, S.C., was held
Friday, July 28, in Rome, Ga.
Mrs. Watters was the former
Sophie Pintchuck and had lived
in Atlanta for many years. She
had been a laboratory technician
at Georgia Baptist Hospital.
Survivors include sisters, Mrs.
Terba Zimmerman of Atlanta,
Mrs. Jack Steinberg of Charles
ton; brothers, Ike Pintchuck of
Atlanta; Alex Pintchuck of
Memphis and Saul Pintchuck of
Miami Beach.

Randy Fagin, 19, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Irvin A. Fagin of At
lanta, died Tuesday, July 25.
Funeral services were held
July 28 with Rabbi Alvin M.
Sugarman officiating. Interment
was in Crest Lawn Memorial
Park.
He was born in Oklahoma
City, and had lived in Atlanta
for several years. The Fagins
are members of the Temple.
Survivors include his parents,
sisters, Misses Karen and Shar-
na Fagin all of Atlanta; grand
parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. L.
Schoenberg of Tucson, Ariz.,
and Mrs. Samuel Fagin of Ok
lahoma City.

I. J. Filler, Atlanta snack
food manufacturer, died Wed
nesday, July 26.
Funeral services were held
Friday, July 28, with Rabbi
Alvin Sugarman and Cantor
Isaac Goodfriend officiating. In
terment was in Crest Lawn
Memorial Park.
Filler was born in New York
and moved to Atlanta following
service in the U.S. Army during
World War II. He was a mem
ber of the Temple, the Stan
dard Club, BPOE Lodge 48, the
Potato Chip Institute Interna
tional and other civic and char
itable organizations.
Filler established Filler Prod
ucts, Inc., which processed sev
eral snack food items, in At
lanta after World War II. In
1966, he sqlji the company to
R. J. Reynolds, Inc.
In 1968, Filler founded I.J.
Filler Enterprises, Inc., a con
glomerate encompassing com-
