Arthritis Hospital, which met
recently at the hospital in Hot
Springs, Ark., included represen
tatives from the 5th and 7th
Districts of B’nai B’rith, sponsors
of the facility.
Mrs. Leonard Bagen of Atlanta,
a vice president, attended, as did
David M Blumberg of Knoxville,
past president. Present from
Memphis were Emile L.
Grossbart, president of the board
of trustees; James R Blumberg,
Mrs. Janet Feldman, Michael
Greenwald, Dr Lyman Kas-
selberg, Louis Kotler, Harry
Levitch and Mrs. Kasselberg
External factors affecting the
operation of the hospital, such as
governmental controls, were dis
cussed along with rising
operational costs.
The hospital was founded in
1914 by B’nai B’rith for the care of
patients with arthritis and
rheumatoid diseases
ATLANTA’S FAMILIAR “Voice of Sanders Paint Co.”, Mrs. Arthur
Sanders and Mr. Sanders display the citation awarded them through WSB
Radio's entry of the Sanders Paint and Wallpaper Co. commercials. The
commercials, written and voiced by Herta Sanders for the past four years,
were selected for the Gold Award for Radio of the seventh “Deep South”
district of the American Advertising Federation. Jack I.enz, WSB ac
count executive, is at left.

Atlanta Delegates
Head for Denver
Hadassah Convention
Mrs. Helen Spiegel, president of
the Atlanta Chapter of Hadassah,
will head a delegation of group
presidents to the 59th national
convention of Hadassah to be held
August 26-29 in Denver
Israel’s Ambassador to the
United States Simcha Dinitz, Dr.
Kalman Mann, director of
Hadassah's Medical Organization;
I, J. Kenen of the American Israel
Public Affairs Committee and
Rabbi Kmanuel Rackman of the
Fifth Avenue Synagogue will be
major speakers at the convention.
Among those planning to attend
with Mrs. Spiegel are these group
presidents: Margot Davis, Shirah;
Joan Kahn, Tikva; Sandy
Dworetz, Tel Chai; Vita
Schulman, Aviva; Betty
Rosenbloum, Shoshanim; Ethel
Trehits, Bat Ami; Ruth Siegel,

Vera Ellman, Bat Shalom. Mrs.
Rae Sternberg and Mrs. Loretta
Tillem will be regional delegates
and Mrs. Sarah Kessler of Aliyah
group will also attend.
