Brandeis Arts Festival
April 22 at Standard Club
On April 22, from 10 a m. to 3 p.m at the Standard Club, the Atlanta
Chapter of the Brandeis National Women's Committee will be holding
its nineteenth annual Creative Arts Festival. •
The event will feature an exhibition of the creative abilities of Brandeis
women. Crafts such as decoupage. artificial flower arrangements,
needlepoint items and antique jewelry will be both displayed and for sale
There will be a gallery of oil paintings, water colors, photographs and
sculpture by Brandeis members who are accomplished artiSts.
In addition, a gourmet table featuring aii sorts of pastries and a vast
. amount of tomato plants will be on sale. In keeping with the theme of
"Brandeis in Bloom." some of the decorations will be blooming forced
bulbs that are also for sale.
The public is invited to come and browse among the exhibits.
Luncheon following is by reservation.
The chairwomen of the day, Susan Ruben and Marilyn Crow, point
out that the proceeds from the event will be used for the purchase of
books for Brandeis University. The National Women's Committee is
solely responsible for supporting the libraries on campus. The committee
also filters needed books to the federal penitentiaries

Eisenberg In
Mime Show
At Academy
A VNER EISENBERG
Avncr Eisenberg will present
three evenings of a “one-mime-
show", entitled “At a Loss for
Words," at 8:30 p.m. Sunday,
Monday and Tuesday, Apr. 20-22,
at the Academy Theatre in
Buckhead.
Mime work, juggling, tumbling,
magic tricks and clowning are used
to develop a humorous probe into
man and his pretentions.
Eisenberg, the son of Mickie
and David Eisenberg, is a native
Atlantan. He has studied two years
with the master teacher of mime,
Jacques l.eCoq in Paris.
Professionally, Eisenberg has
performed in a German cabaret in
Dusseldorf, one-man films for the
NYU school of the arts, as a
mime-therapist for deaf children in
a one-man-show on tour in Israel
and is currently working as an
artist-in-residence in Southeastern
colleges and high schools.
