Mizrachi Opens
New High School
A highlight of the 50th Jubilee
convention of American Mizrachi
Women held recently in Israel was
a visit to a new comprehensive
high school in North Tel Aviv.
Sponsored by Mizrachi, the
Wolf and Julia Eisenberg High
School was slated to open earlier.
However, the Yom Kippur War
and the following construction
slowdown, delayed completion.
In addition to vocational
courses such as home economics
dietetics, hotel management, office
work, sewing, fashion and textiles,
the school will also have well-
equipped modern music and art
departments.
Mrs. Harry Robkin, president
of Atlanta Chapter of Mizrachi,
saw the building under construc
tion. Mrs. Edith Gruber, returning
from a recent visit to Israel, saw
the completion and said. “This
school is indeed one that American
Mizrachi Women can be proud
of."
