SETON HALL ( athoiic University students, educators and members of the clergy from various parts of the
country before boarding El Al plane for Israel. The group will spend three weeks on a study tour under spon
sorship of the America-lsrael Friendship League. During a four-day pilgrimage to Rome at the end of the Israel
tour, the interfaith group will present a Shofar to Pope Paul VI. Shown with the group are America-lsrael

Camilla Boy Scout In Norway
Louis Feingold of Camilla is a
member of the United States con
tingent to the 14th World Scout
Jamboree in Lillehammer,
Norway.
He is one of two Scouts from
Chewhaw Council attending the
jamboree, and is part of Troop 10,
comprising 36 scouts and four
adult leaders from the southeast
region.
Louis will tour Norway and
Sweden and will visit in the home
of a scout family, who will show
him the sights of the area. —
He is the only Jewish boy in
Camilla and his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Bob Feingold, drove over 200
miles a week for him to study for
his Bar Mitzva. They are members
of both, the Filzgeraid Hebrew
Congregation and Temple B’nai
Israel of Albany.
An Eagle Scout, Louis also
received his Ner Tomid award in
Fitzgerald from the late Rabbi
Nathan Kohen. He is an honor
student, an officer in the Spanish
and science clubs, plays varsity
football and was president of his
class for two years. Incipient of
the Westwood School citizenship
cup in 1973 and I97S, Louis led a
clean-up drive for veteran’s day,
was a leader in the town tree pro
ject and is active in B’nai Israel
Sunday School in Albany, where
he was confirmed in May.

Lupus Group Will Sponsor Benefit
The Atlanta Chapter, Lupus
Erythematosus Foundation, is
sponsoring a special preview
benefit performance of "Man of
La Mancha" at the new Midnight
Sun Dinner Theatre in Peachtree
Center on Friday, Sept. 12.
Ms. Nancy Cohen, chairman of
the chapter, also announced that
First Lady Betty Ford has agreed
to serve as honorary national
chairman for the Foundation.
In addition to Ms. Cohen,
Atlanta board members include
Mrs. Maynard Jackson, DcKalb
County Commissioner Liane
Levetan, Charles Parker Jr., Jerry
Fields and Howard Peck.
Mayor Jackson has named
September 12 “Lupus Awareness
Day" in Atlanta.
