she received the Thomas
Jefferson cup. Miss Fishman
is presently working on her
master’s degree in speech
pathology at the University
of Virginia.
The bridegroom-elect is a
graduate of the University of
Virginia, where he was a
member of Phi Epsilon Phi
fraternity, and is currently
attending law school at the
University of Richmond,
where he is a member of
McNeill Law Society and on
the Law Review.

ta. Mr. Frankel is the grand

and the late Mack Frankel,
and Nathan Tendrich and the
late Mrs. Fannie Tendrich, all
of Atlanta.
Miss Romm attended the
University of Texas where
she received her BA degree in
sociology. She was a member
of Sigma Delta Tau Sorority.
The bride-to-be is now
employed as a caseworker by
the Fulton County Depart
ment of Family and Children
Services.
Mr. Frankel graduated
from Vanderbilt University
where he received a BS
degree in political science and
» accounting. He was a
member of Phi Kappa Sigma
Fraternity. Mr. Frankel is
now associated with the
Atlanta accounting firm of
Habif, Arogeti & Wynne, P C.
A November wedding is
planned.

Party Oct. 30
The DeWitt Clinton Alum
ni Assn, will have its sixth
annual cocktail party at 8:00
p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Bauman, 1705 Merton Rd.,

Cost of the party is $10 a
couple, with checks payable

The Dixie DeWitt Chapter
has 150 names on the roster,

Shoe Train
October 24
The Sandy Springs Chapter of
B’nai B’rith Women will hold its
annual “Shoe-Shoe Train” on
Sunday, Oct. 24.
Members will be distributing
shoes to needy children form 2 to
4 p.m. at the Martin Luther King
EOA Center on Auburn Ave.

SQUASH AND PINEAPPLE
For a fall vegetable dish that
is colorful and a little different,
try this variation on squash.
1 large butternut squash,
peeled
1 #303 can pineapple
chunks
Vt stick margarine
salt
Slice squash in thin rounds.
Place some in a greased
casserole dish. Top with some
pineapple chunks, then more
squash, more pineapple, etc., in
layers. Melt margarine and mix
with pineapple juice from can.
Pour margarine — pineapple
juice mixture over the casserole
and bake at 350 degrees until
squash is soft (about 40
minutes).

has dismantled the third and
last of the missile sites it erected
on the east bank of the Suez
Canal, apparently satisfying
Israel’s demand for their
removal on grounds that the
sites were a violation of the 1975
Sinai interim agreement.

answer period will follow.
