the Or Ve Shalom-Israel Dinner
of Solidarity December 5, accor
ding to Ralph Benator and Jack
De Leon, in consultation with
Isaac N. Galanti, president of
the congregation.
In accepting the co
chairmanship, they stated: ‘To
day , as the people of Israel work
harder than ever and face ex
traordinary difficulties and
hardships, they need Israel Bond
funds more than ever to enable
them to meet the country’s
pressing financial problems, to
help remove some of the
obstacles in the path of Israel’s
progress and its search for
peace. We at Or VeShalom will
not fail in our purchase of Israel
Bonds in unprecedented
amounts,” they concluded.

dent of Atlanta, is presently
president of Or VeShalom
Sisterhood, and has served on its
board for many years. She is a
member of Hadassah, ORT,
Council of Jewish Women, and is
active in the Jewish Welfare
Federation. She has held the.co-
chairmanship of the Women’s
Division of Israel Bonds since its
inception for her congregation.
The former Louise Dozetos, she
has been married to Isaac Habif
for 28 years. He is a past presi
dent of the congregation. They
have four children, Leonard,
Robert, Vicki and Mark.
Sara Piha, a native of
Montgomery, is past president
of Temple Etz Ahayem
Sisterhood of that city. She is
recording secretary of Or
VeShalom Sisterhood, a member
of Aviva Hadassah, is active in
the Jewish Welfare Federation,
Women’s Division, and a board
Pin Of Return For Temple Hosts
AT THE HOST COMMITTEE MEETING on October 10 at the
home of Laura and Marshall Dinerman, plans were formulated
for the Temple-Israel Dinner of Solidarity on November 7. It will
be the occasion when the State of Israel Energy Award will be
presented to the Temple for its part in the Israel Bond program in
providing economic aid to the State of Israel through Israel
Bonds. Receiving the pin (above) “The Return of the Twelve
Tribes to Israel,” from Dr.Marvin C. Goldstein, Atlanta Israel
Bond Chairman, is Laura Dinerman, chairman of the Host Com
