Elmo, "Ladybird" gat honors
Elmo Ellis, of Atlanta’s WSB
Radio, has received the 1977 Abe
Lincoln Award from the
Southern Baptist Radio and
Television Commission. This is
Ellis’ second nomination for the
award, which was presented to
him February 17 in Fort Worth.
At the same ceremony, Mrs.
Lyndon B. Johnson received the
Southern Baptist Radio and
Television Commission’s
Distinguished Communications
Medal.

proclaimed Nanette Kass
Wenger Day by Cincinnati
Mayor Jamee T. Luken to honor
Emory University’s Professor of
Cardiology.
Dr. Wenger, selected by ‘Time
Magazine” as one of the notable
women of the year, is director of
the Cardiac Clinic at Grady
Hospital and of the Program for
Cardiac Evaluation and Medical
and Vocational Rehabilitation.
She has authored over 150 ar
ticles and texts on various
aspects of medicine and is
recognised nationally and inter
nationally for her efforts to up
grade the quality of medical care
and to improve the quality of

Atlanta, have recently returned
from a 84-day trip to Israel,
where they visited their
daughter, Soyna Wilkenfeld and"
family in Jerusalem, and toured
the country.

Sydney was given, the Hebrew

of Israel announce the birth of a
son, Adam Levi, on January 23
in Hadassah Hospital in
Jerusalem. Mrs. Wilkenfeld is
the former Soyna Mori Cohen.
Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs.
